Love these chickpea combination with dark chocolate. Good protein since it has chickpeas and I am happy. More on expensive side but all worth for a healthy eating.

The media could not be loaded. After my original review, the company reached out to me and wanted to make things right. They resent my original order, not a sample, which surprised me. But thank the powers that be we were having cooler weather. There wasn’t any cooling packs in the package, just inside a brown box with brown packaging paper inside. That being said, I still wouldn’t order during warmer weather. But they are DELICIOUS!! I even gave some to coworkers to taste test. Asked what they thought they were, first answers were whoppers. They were amazed and demanded to see the packaging. Is it expensive? Restrictive diet foods are, worth it? Absolutely.Good news and bad news, it arrived early. The date it was supposed to arrive was during the week, so I had it delivered to work, it was “delivered to recipient by hand”, it was not. It was “delivered” on a Saturday, we’re closed on weekends, so it wasn’t delivered. Which means it sat in the mail truck over the weekend. So, I’d love to give it more stars. I have no idea what it tastes like. It’s a big blob of lumpy chocolate. Easily melts. I tried to break off a piece only to get it all over the place. Also, if you notice in the picture you can see the tale tale sign of the chocolate was either old, or frequently melted or exposed to heat off and on. So, there’s my review. Take it as a warning. There’s a great chance of it come melted, which gives you the “bloom”. Really sad that I couldn’t actually enjoy it.

So I purchased this because everyone raved about how they tasted like healthy chocolate covered malt ball candies. Once the order came, I ate one to see if it lived up to the hype: it did not.HOWEVER I tried something that made them taste so much better. What I realized after eating one was that it was missing salt. So what I did was put a 1/4 teaspoon of iodized salt (that’s about a quarter of the daily intake of salt) into the bag and shook it vigorously for a bit to make sure the salt coated the chocolate. After doing this I tried one again and lo and behold they tasted so much better! I thought I would have to get rid of what I ordered, but thanks to this adjustment I’ve found a healthy sweet snack that I absolutely love!

I normally don't write reviews, but I have to for this. We order these snack for my daughter because of dietary restrictions. This is one of our favorite snacks! We ordered and nothing was coming - there was a delay of some kind with a warehouse. So Lebby reached out to me and said we will send directly to you so you don't have to wait longer! They came quickly after that. I was getting ready to cancel the order, but they reached out and got it delivered. Great service! Also, if you haven't tried this snack... try it! They are amazing! My daughter loves the milk chocolate and I love the dark chocolate. Can't go wrong with either! Thanks Lebby!

This product is not roasted as the description states...unless they roast them then grind them up and mold them into a ball and cover it with chocolate. They are soft and lifeless when biten into, not crunchy as other roasted chickpea products are. Since Amazon won't offer refunds on food products, I guess I've wasted $30.UPDATE: The company contacted me, generously offered a refund and explained that their process involves a dry roast rather than a roast involving oil which results in a different consistancy. If I hadn't already tried the other kind of chickpea snack, I might have liked this product more. Just a personal preference.

Another movie night treat

These are surprisingly delicious and a better healthier option for a snack. There is a decent amount in each pouch. The only downfall is they are quite expensive, so it would be more of a novelty snack to have once in a while. Great for people with dairy and gluten allergies.
