What is a cat not to love!!!! We have a finicky feline with discriminating taste. A PureBites freeze dried salmon treat is the only cat snack that she will accept. It has to be salmon and has to be PureBites!

I mean I can't vouch for taste... but my cats love the salmon treats more than any of the other flavors. It's just disappointing it's so spendy! It is very fragrant and both felines will come running if they hear the cabinet open. The bag comes with both large and small pieces friendly for all sizes of felines. The dust at the bottom can be used as a food topper too. Great to use for training!

I tried to feed this to my 7 year old kitty. She was addicted to Temptations treats, but I read these are terrible for her health & these were suggested because no additives etc. She wouldn't touch them, I gave them to my son who has 3 young cats 2 that eat any thing, they wouldn't touch them, nope. They are like jerky, hard skin, irregular pieces. They are expensive & probably worth it with a cat that has not yet been introduced to regular kitty treats. I've given up on conventional treats & trying other alternatives for the health of my kitty.

These salmon treats are so disappointing. When they first came out on the market, they were the best treats! My cat adores them, so I've been ordering them for the past 10 years. That said, I noticed the quality began to change 2-3 years ago. I've tried to be patient, hoping the processing would improve. It has not. Now, the treats are obviously quick cut and covered with skin. The skin is hard and dry, with sharp ends at times. There is no consistent size to each treat. To make good use of the current bag, I have to peel the skin off the treats and try to break the large ones down to size. This bag of treats arrived ultra dried-- they are hard. I will put a small piece of fresh lettuce in the bag to help them soften a bit, but things shouldn't be this way. This bag of salmon treats will be my last. I've tried other brands of salmon treats, but they are largely the same. Moving to whitefish treats, which thankfully don't seem to have the same issues. What I will also do with the treats in this bag is pulverize them into chunky powder. My cat loves "sprinkles" on top of her food.

My cat is obsessive with these treats. It's almost a curse! He get pissy about me not giving them out to him 24/7.. He would push an old lady down stairs to get to these treats. And he's the picky panda that gags at stuff he doesn't like, Lord. If It was delivered to my front door, haha, he would appear out of the woodwork and like ride a magic carpet to get thru the door if necessary. I only take a star off, cause you have to cut them up thru a lot of concrete-hard pieces before giving them to the floofs. I wised up and do it ahead of time with the whole pack and put it in a glass jar. they're really smelly, so my crackhead cat will not leave the bag alone. Head-up, It takes a good 30mins to prep. Is worth it thou, because my cat thinks it is the best thing ever, and dislikes waiting for me to hand them out correctly.

Love these all natural cat treats! Perfect sizes none are too large, only 1 ingredient.. freeze dried salmon. great value. The bag lasts a while. My cats love these and I love that they are all natural..

Another bag half had to be thrown out. Half was unusable. Hard and all skin. My cats love freeze dried purebites chicken,salmon tuna but the salmon was barely edible! I would like a refund! Whole life brand too. This is getting expensive since I have to throw at least half the bag away. I have 3 cats it's not cheap.

Cats love it. Suggest cutting up larger pieces.

WARNING. PEEL OFF THE SKIN. It is way too tough to even rip or cut. My cat choked on it as well as someone's cat that I bought the treats for.

Lots of junk like sharp skin pieces, very dangerous and needs to be filtered out. Very little actual freeze dried fish "meat"

Got the salmon as the tuna one that I usually buy is currently not available. Thought my cats would like it as well. For the most part they do but they cannot eat the skin leaving it behind. And there is a lot of skin that doesn't have any meat on it. Will just wait for when the tuna comes available again or buy it somewhere else.
