I spent some time juxtaposing other Reviewer comments on similar products like these; mainly for the purpose of decorating my desk at work (I have a zen garden, too) and went with these versus different colors offered online. I bought these and was very impressed with the size, color and shape. They're small, a little over 1.1" high, give or take, but perfect for my desk as I don't want to take up -too- much space of course. The color is rich, velvety-red. As for the detail, my co-workers enjoy looking at them, picking a few up and admiring the shapes. The design is great, each of the lil' Buddhas are in a different pose, which are noticeable when they're next to each other. When I get stressed out or need to clear my thoughts, these are therapeutic in the sense that I can pick them up and reflect on my day.

These are lovely. The color is deep and rich, they are made of a heavy material, and the expressions just make me want to laugh right along with him. I'm uploading a photo with a quarter in the picture so that you can see the size since it has been discussed quite a bit. They are actually a bit bigger than I expected after reading the description, which says they are approx 1" high, and some of the reviews. One review mentioned these had a hole like a necklace charm, mine do not, so I wonder if that person was sent the wrong product? I love them enough that I think they would make great gifts and plan on ordering more. The only thing that left a little to be desired was the packaging, but I don't plan on keeping them in their box.

I absolutely love these tiny Red Buddhas! The color is rich and deep and the detail is good! There are however two things I will mention even though it doesn't stop me from giving these Buddhas 5 stars. The packaging is flimsy and was all but destroyed when I received it, so, if that is a show stopper for you, you take your chances. Also, each Buddha, as part of the casting, has a small loop on its back apparently for hanging from your rearview mirror or whatnot but one of the six loops of mine was broken when received. Not a big deal to me as I don't plan on hanging them from anything but if that is your intention, again, you take your chances! Overall I am very pleased with these little Buddhas! At just over an inch tall they are cute as a button and did I mention, I love the color! I will definatly do business with this seller again! Thanks! Kehbe

I bought these little guys for my bestfriend for Christmas and she loved them! They're very cute, petite, and sold for a reasonable price. The maroon color looks nice too, instead of something basic like black or a nude color. The only downside is that they could have been stored in a safer case during shipmeny. But that's just me nitpicking! Otherwise, great product and good for collections.

My laughing Buddha set arrived intact and was properly packaged. They were in the same little box that others have photographed but there was a rubber band around either end and they were tight enough to hold the lid in place and the Buddhas in their slots in the box. In addition to the rubber bands, the banded box was placed inside a well fitting plastic bag which taped shut so it was tight around the box and then it was all put in a padded envelope for mailing.I read commentary about "cheap packaging"; and how they couldn't be displayed in the package but unless you are a retailer and they're out for other folks to buy I think leaving these guys in their box would be a travesty. If they're for resale, the box was just fine for placing on a shelf. The Buddhas are meant to be out and about just apparently not in your kitchen or bathroom so don't leave them in the box!I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy more of these in the future. They are heavy enough to know that they were in my hand... about like a stone chess piece might feel if you were holding it. I have already put my Buddhas out in my front room and they may be joined by another set, we'll see after I've cleaned that area back up.

Very fast delivery, very very good packaging, and only one out of the 6 Buddha's has 2 very small chips. One very small chip in the nose and one very small chip on the right hand. They are very unnoticeable flaws. They were a bit smaller than expected but still a good size. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a very inexpensive set of laughing Buddhas :)

small figures suitable for a planter, look okay

These are for Christmas presents and I'm hoping they like them. They are really tiny. I knew they were going to be small, so I was not misleaded. I think they'll be able to put these around their house without taking up a lot of room. I received these really fast in the mail without any issues. My only issue with the product is that they weren't all in their little slots in the packaging. Knowing the way UPS throws stuff around, I'm sure it was due to that. Nothing was broken, luckily.

It came earlier than expected and was in a box with some other items that I ordered so it was well protected. It's own box wasn't too bad either. The little Buddhas are well made, cute and detailed although they're very small.. The red colour is deep and beautiful. It also came with a lucky red string bracelet which was a very nice gesture! 👍 Thank you! :)

I got these little guys for a decorative shelf in the living room. I like em, enough detail to catch the eye and a nice muted colour to match the paint.

Excellent addition to any display cabinet or book shelf. Little Buddhas in different states of contentment. My only reason for giving a four instead of a five is because I feel the coloring may be a little to dark for ones eyes to get a close look at the detail. Your eyes fight the sheen or glaze and the dark Burgundy. Otherwise packaging was excellent and there were no broken pieces. For twenty dollars for something to lift your spirits every day I'd say is money well spent!

Bought two in March/April and they were wrapped in xmas papers. Was a bit awkward/embarrassing to give but I didn't have access to any other gift wrappers and had to buy this on a day's notice while visiting at my parents'. Beautifully made though.
