Needs work, but get it any way
We used the 2016 version in March of 2017 and found the recommendations to be quite good. We are going back again this March so I downloaded the new and updated version (2018). There wasn't much updated. It is pretty much the same.It needs to be revamped or cross-referenced. Chapters are divided into groups of similar food. That is fine if there is an easy way to translate this information onto a map. The maps included are inadequate. They are inaccurate and very incomplete. I spent quite some time making my own maps. Also, we had some issues finding a couple places in 2017 that are still listed. The website of one is inactive and Google maps does not show it or the others that we could not locate.

An authentic dining scene guide for the visitor to Prague
Great guide for the DIY traveler even if one is not a "foodie" as it explains the dining scene and etiquette in Prague for the visitor. Classic Czech food is easy to find all over Prague but for good, classic Czech food, use this guide. It also has helpful tips on other cuisines that have burst onto the Prague dining scene over just the past few years as well as the cafes and other decadent delights awaiting those with a sweet tooth. As with all guides related to dining, changes come along at a fast pace to Prague so names and places can be gone and replaced in a season. If you really want to experience the diverse and entertaining Prague dining scene, whether it's the cuisine or the setting, classic or refined, local or international, downtown or neighborhood, or even at a farmers' market, I would highly recommend contacting the author prior to your trip to see if her services can make your Prague visit ever so much more special and more than just what one sees on a typical TV travel show.I am a frequent, long-stay visitor to Prague so I am familiar with many of the places recommended in this guide and can thank Krysti for introducing me to Nota Bene which is mentioned in the guide for Czech microbrews. While it may sound like a lot of drama for lunchtime dining, it's not so bad but then, I've been a bit of a lunchtime regular there so I'm used to the scene. If you should go there for lunch, wave at me should you see someone who looks like a tourist a little out of place there and yet, very much at home with his beer and food. Na zdravi and dobrou chut!

Great Guide to Eating in Prague!
I purchased this book for a trip in March of 2018. This book is extremely helpful explaining the types of food and drink that is available in this city. Krysti has written this book in a way that is easy to understand and has helpful dining recommendations. She details the style of the food in Prague and what is available. As always with traveling, you must try some of the local flavors and Krysti explains this very nicely in the book. We booked a day tour with Krysti and we actually ate at two locations with her. Booking a day tour is a must, and she will arrange the day to suit your interests. My husband and I loved our personnel tour.

Ok for first timers to Prague
Ok so we are here in Prague and the guide is helpful. The problem is there over 6 different Prague sections and it would be good to keep the restaurants in sections so you know if you want a long metro ride or not
