One day use review :(1st time cooling pad purchase)1. Recieved a brand new n packaged product, with zero damage in delivery.2. A bit info about my laptop, so to explain why I needed a cooling pad.Laptop: MSI GE63 RAIDER 8SF gaming laptop.My main use is for gaming n multimedia work online. The laptop has good internal cooling fans but they get blocked with dust to fast n need cleaning every few month's which is not easy and I use it in an non ac room, so dust is an issue.Going into buying a cooling pad, I was a bit apprehensive weather it would be effective in helping giving my laptop good air circulation or not after going thru lots of reviews for diff cooling pads on amazon. Plus iam on a tight budget too.So I took a chance with this xmate product as it was on a lightning deal and I was really in need of some sort extra cooling for my laptop,As it isn't able to cool off at all after serious gaming. Temperature ranges:( after throttling the power with cpu throttle)*during gaming cpu: 85-90 c° gpu: 86c°max or less*during online/multimedia cpu:65-75 gpu:55-60*during idle after heavy usage cpu:55-60 gpu:50-55*during startup n idle cpu:45-47 gpu:44So I needed a solution of getting the laptop too cool down during idle after gaming.Thus, iam guite satisfied too say that the xmate cooling made is up too satisfaction.3. It brings down the laptop temp to cpu:45 gpu:44 in under 5 mins after gaming in idle state.4. It give a 5-7°c reduced temp during online work on a browser with a few background apps.5. At only 1500 max rpm, the pad is very silent(I cudnt even hear it starting n thought it was defective), with the laptop fans louder than the pad itself too.BUT n Therefore it's is not effective during active gameplay on the laptop. Maybe a 1-2° reduction.HENCEFORTH, I believe a cooling pad isn't complimentary during a gaming session to reduce temperature significantly. Need a vaccum cooler probably for that.A COOLING PAD MAIN USEFULLNES comes into its ability to cooling of the laptop significantly faster and effectively as well aftrt a gaming session. WHICH personally Iam Very Satisfied in the Xmate pad's performance as of yet.6. Structure build is very sturdy and durable. It can hold a 15 inch laptop very well. The incline sliding preventive hook are 1 inch thick, so a sliding laptop won't be a problem.7. Best air ventilation would be if the pad has itself inclined than laying flat on a table. Otherwise cooling effect is ineffective.8. Incline height is unadjustable, so not helpful for long hrs typing on the laptop.9. Two USB ports in the pad. One will power the pad when connected to the laptop or USB power outlet, n second can replace the USB connection to a device(keyboard or mouse in my setup) which the 1st USB connection is used up for powering the pad.10. Rotatory switch for all 4 fans. With speed adjustment through speculation only by rotating the switch.I keep I half way speed during laptop idle and max during active use or gaming session. Most effective that way.Thus, concludes my reviews.Reviews will revised if needed every 3 months gap for a year to see the durability of fans n power of the cooling pad itself.My expectation is for it work for a year at least without a problem.If any problem arises will give a reduction product stars. And then start looking for a new cooling pad.Thank you!

The first time i ordered this cooling pad the usb cable was missing from the package. I used a spare usb cable i had to notice that 2 out of 4 fans were not working. I wanted a refund for the product. But amazon only offered me to replace the product. Hence, i opted for a replacement. The replaced product which i recieved did include a usb cable and came with proper packaging as well. The product worked fine for some 4-5 days then again the same problem persisted. One of the fans stopped rotating. This time amazon offered me a refund. Even if u somehow end up buying this product do check if all the fans are working well at regular intervals. As once a certain period of days are over amazon is not responsible for refunding the money.

Well, You Must Buy This Cooling Pad.The Xmate laptop cooling pad is an amazing product that not only cools but add's aesthetic to the setup. The ABS + Metal Mesh looks great and also feels very durable. The foot pegs that increase the height, inclined by 1.5 inches are sturdy. The Xmate cooling pad design is so future crafted, justice to the name ALIEN SHIP!! It has pegs on top of the Cooling Pad to hold the laptop, do get in the way while typing but after a while it doesn't seem to bother much. I mean I typed all of this so I know that for sure.The cooling feature is very efficient while noise free, literally noise free than anything else in the house, I work at night so I can tell.You won't believe this but the Xmate cooling pad lets me do my thing while it cools the laptop, I don't really have to stress my laptop's cooling system until really, "really" needed. The only thing that bother's me is the fan blades, they could have been better, even though they function so very well!

I have just purchased it yesterday and the cooling is not that bad like its written in the other comments. The metal mesh is quite sturdy but at the bottom it bends a little inside.i dont think thats a problem. It cools the metal chassis of my laptop very well as it used to be impossible to touch the surface of the laptop during or after heavy gaming.Ill update all the things i notice week to week.Final update: Apart from the legs being little less study, It does the job. It looks premium enough for the price and if you have a metal laptop, its perfect. It perfectly fits my acer nitro 7.

Review after using it for 1 month. I am skipping on features and other details since that is available in product page and other reviews.Pros:- Large surface area for cooling due to it's size and 4 fans. It's slightly bigger than my 15.6" Dell laptop.- It's relatively quiet. If you are in a normal environment you won't hear it, but it's a quiet room you can hear the slight vibration.Cons:- The fan speed could have been more in max. settings. This is the reason I won't really recommend this for serious gamers.Tip: If you want to maximize cooling, you need to setup the stand to elevate it. It really improves the air flow.
