Actually not all that bad considering the price
I was expecting something that would fall apart when tested, but it held up flawlessly. There are some aspects of this rod that are clearly cheap and not very well put together but I'm ok with that since I can fix it myself. All in all not a bad little rod. Definitely a lot thinner than I was expecting.

Small but mighty!
Lovely, affordable, tiny rod morphs into 7-ft telescoping fishing pole, perfect for our midweight reels. I hope we do lots of catching!

Excellent finesse rod to travel with
It's pretty good for a telescoping rod. I had to re-glue all the guides, as they came loose after the first day of use. The grip is a little too slim for my taste, but the rod is sturdy and has handled plenty of larger bass with no problems.

Snapped into two pieces on the first day of bass fishing
Eyelets were loose upon arrival. Fixed that. Snapped into two pieces on the first day I used it. The pole looked great but didn’t perform.

perfect and satisfied
The most solid telescoping rod I’ve ever bought! The all metal purple body is also charming. Perfect for those backpacking trips or just down to the local river. And most important is the price. Over my expection at such low price. Satisfied and happy. Will buy more as gifts!
