Expensive, but slick design
I finally got sick of the no-doubt unhealthy plastic taste, and messy aluminum oxide (from the cage) all over the outside of my standard water bottles. In fact, I really hesitated to even use these old bottles, just carrying one as drinking bladder back-up for unexpected visits to Desperation Straights on desert rides. Fidlocks are expensive, but made with BPA-free, tasteless plastic. The bottle also stays put remarkably well, even on rough terrain with my MTB. I was expecting it to rattle off and hit the ground at least once, but it hasn't yet. It's no more fiddly to replace the bottle than it is to cram one into a cage. And it's really nice to have the low profile bracket instead of a bulky cage when I'm not carrying a bottle. Being able to carry a bottle I actually want to drink from means I can leave the Camelbak home for shorter rides, which is more comfortable and freeing.

Handles Park City Downhills with no issues
The Fidlock water bottle is, without a doubt, the ultimate companion for biking enthusiasts, and its magnetic mounting system is nothing short of incredible. I've put this bottle to the test during some seriously aggressive downhill rides and jumps in locations like Utah's Park City and Deer Valley, and I can confidently say that it has never failed me. The bottle securely stays in place unless I intentionally want to remove it, and the convenience it offers while riding is unparalleled. Its ability to handle the intense jolts and terrain variations of such demanding trails without any issues is a testament to its durability and design. The Fidlock water bottle has become an essential part of my biking gear, ensuring I stay hydrated on every adventure without the worry of losing my bottle along the way. It's a game-changer for bikers, and I can't recommend it enough.

Good bottle
Best bottle there is. Only problem is that it need a bit of the time to put it back.

Holds securely but difficult to drink out of
The water bottle holds securely and detaching it while riding it quite easy. Re-attaching it takes a bit of practice, compared to shoving it down in a bottle cage, but I really like the clean look on the bike. However, drinking from the bottle is NOT easy. The top requires some really tugging to get it open and the stream is less than desirable. This is for my bottle and my wife's. If we are stopped, we remove the tops and drink from the bottle like a cup.

Works great!
I got this to put on my mountain bike. The bottle mount is underslung on the down tube, and most bottles would just fall out. This holds quite nicely without being so clamped on that you can't get the bottle on and off. Bottle is durable and seems to keep the bottle on no matter how I ride (I'm not the sendiest rider, so ymmv) Complaints would be lack of cover to keep muck off of the bottle cap, and the minor nit that I can only use compatible bottles (duh)

It stayed on my bike when I didnโt
The only bottle mount system that would fit my frame, so I had to purchase it if I wanted to use it for short rides and not be forced to use my camelbak backpack. The system works very very well. For example I have gone though multiple Rick gardens and it never budge. I also recently went over my handle bars broke parts on my bike and the bottle was still there. I do wish it didnโt cost so much much but if your looking for something to stayed glued to your bike And only comes off when you twist it, this is product.

Convenience
Easy to mount and unmount when on the move. Looks good on the bike too. No messy bottle cage. Only issue is the top. Water doesnโt flow as well as other systems.

Awkward; may require much practice
Full disclosure, I have only 4 rides with this product. I decided to try it because my Specialized Camber pretty much requires a side-loading cage due to shock placement, and it is low on frame, so it is a bit awkward to reload the bottle. The attachment to the mount is good. No dropped bottles or vibration. There are 2 main issues for me. 1. While removal is excellent, reloading is awkward. This will likely improve some with practice, but I would need a routine grab and replace grip style to be consistent. Your aim has to be pretty good to get a quick reload. 2. The bottle is half rigid due to mounting hardware, so it is difficult to squeeze. I have not yet dealt with a nearly empty bottle, but safe to say it will be difficult to get the last few ounces. This comes back to #1 above because you likely need to adjust your grip while holding the bottle, and then make sure it is rotated properly for reload. In short, it is well made, but awkward. At a $40 investment, it is no better than my previous awkward arrangement. For now, it will stay on my bike as I try to work out the reload routine

Replaced defective bottle right away
The first bottle I had was defective and drew in equal amounts of water and air when drinking. They replaced it right away and the new bottle works great!

Very secure, I have no worries of it falling out. Just make sure it clicks in.

Neat little bottles!
We love the convenience of these bottles. The wife loves hers because it fits in the small parts of her bike frame. I find it very easy to grab while riding and it snaps back in without needing to look down. We haven't had any issue with them falling off. However, loses one star because the bottle always leaks from the valve after each sip dripping on your shirt. It doesn't snap closed like a Gatorade bottle to prevent drips. Both of our bottles do this. Overall I'd highly recommend them!
