Lesson Learned: Buy Top Quality Tools
Very fast shipping from Tool Topia: ordered Thursday night and was delivered Monday afternoon. Wow! And three phone calls, one from ToolTopia, one from shipper and one from the driver. NICE. Shipped on a large pallet, securely strapped down. Jack is in perfect condition - just needed the hydraulic oil to be topped off (looks like the pallet was tilted on it's side and some of the oil had drained out the breather cap). One bolt to tighten on the handle and gave it a try under my wife's Xterra. Lifted it with ease. Much easier pressure required than my old Chinese Freight jack, that was like bench pressing a heavy load. Nice easy, smooth let down, too. Top quality appearance and construction. Even the delivery driver stopped a few minutes to admire the fit and finish of this Hein-Werner tool. FYI, according to Hein-Werner, this jack is 96% made in the USA. All of the crucial parts: pump, lift arm, etc. are made here in the USA. Just a couple of small castings are outsourced. American's building quality tools right here in the good old USA. NICE. Anybody want my old Chinese Freight jack? It would make a nice paper weight, especially if you don't mind the dripping oil . . . Truthfully, that dripping jack is what started me on a quest to buy only top quality, American made if I can find them, tools. I like to buy things once. Lesson learned. Gee, an old dog can learn new tricks.

made mostly in the USA
My hobby is restoring old Chevys I use a floor jack a bunch. Decided to buy a "Quality" floor jack. Upon arrival opening the box it was wet with oil. I removed the jack rolled it across the floor and one of the swivel wheel nuts fell off. It took 49 pumps to fully raise the jack with no weight on it. rolled the jack a little farther and the other swivel was jamming would not swivel. Ate lunch came in my shop and there was a little bit of oil under the jack it was leaking at the ram. The jack cost me $427 through Amazon. I had to pay $69 freight fee to return it. piece of crap. I would give it a lower rating if possible. DON'T BUY IT! Mike in Orlando. I need to make a correction to this earlier review I did not have to pay the return shipping.

Well made, well performing floor jack that should last
My previous US-made 2ton jack worked perfectly for 30+ years before leaking off under load, but was not rebuildable so sadly went to the recycler. In talking to local hydraulic tool service staff they warned me about the difficulty finding decent jacks anymore that matched what I had. However I think this jack bucks that trend. It is fully maintainable, very strong, and performs well. While some parts are made in China it is assembled in the US. Pumps up with expected effort, and has controllable let-down speed though I needed to just crack the handle to get a dead-slow drop rate on a mid-sized SUV. Top of handle has knurled surface for good twisting grip. Comes with diagram of parts and service instructions. I added an "ABN 5-½” Jack Pad Universal" which fits perfectly. (Actually the picture of the pad on Amazon is shown on this jack.)Bottom line, I'm sure this jack will work well and last another several decades.

Very heavy duty
Arrived via freight delivery - on a palette/skid ...Used it once so far lifting the F150 truck and it works like a charm. As commented by others, this seems to be a quality item.Twice as wide and solid as my old chinese prolift which is heading to the recycler.Nice grease fitting and instruction booklet comes with.Pros:- A real man's floor jack ... you feel safe when this thing lifts the truck (but you still want to use jack stands as you should).Cons:- Handle is one piece and not designed to be removed easily (loosening of a 14mm bolt required).I recommend it!

These aren't the Hein-Werner jacks of the 80's
These jacks were built like tanks back in the day and lasted for years. I spent $400 to buy a quality jack like this instead of $130 at Harbor Freight. Although I basically use this for simple maintenance on my personal vehicle, the rear casters have failed me twice. You can get the casters online for $40 each at the right website. I'll probably just save my money and consider buying another jack instead of dumping more money into this jack replacing it with another "junk" caster.

Excellent jack, the pump on mine hasn't worked from the get-go
This jack is very solidly, very well constructed and weighs a ton. Mine arrived safe and sound, everything in good order. Only problem is, the hydraulic pump doesn't work. Mine had no hydraulic oil in it, so I purchased the Hein-Werner jack oil, filled it, and it still doesn't pump. I need to contact the manufacturer and see if they'll send me a new pump.

I hate to say this.. But Don’t waste your money.
I’m a lifelong auto tech, and have used Lincoln Jacks almost exclusively for the last 30 years. Well let me tell ya folks, this isn’t no where near the same quality. For starters it showed up without the handle. When I finally got response from the seller they made me feel like I was trying to pull one over on em. I did finally get the handle several weeks later. Then upon the first use, the wheel fell off as well as a few other bolts on the Jack. I literally had to tighten every bolt on this POS. Then it worked fine a few times. I went to use it the other day, and it raise up. So o added some oil and it worked kinda. Very slow to raise. Upon further inspection the pump plunger wasn’t extending fully, hence the very slow raise. As bad as I hate to say this, just buy a HF Jack or any other China Jack for that matter and save yourself the hassle and money.

Heavy duty jack but not very quick to raise
Heavy duty, but very short hydraulic power stroke to make the lift move a centimeter or two. Have to move the handle up and down several times just to get a couple of centimeters of motion on the lift end. Something not right. Maybe not enough hydraulic fluid. Have not had time to sort it out.
