These are great cake bases — very sturdy. BUT the edges are very sharp. Cut my fingers twice on it while rotating the base while frosting (first time I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how I had cut myself). I wish they had sanded the edges to avoid this issue so Just use caution!

I used this as the base for an ice cream cake. It worked wonderfully for that purpose. Also, was able to wash in the dishwasher without any problems, knock on wood.On my set, the edges were sharp, so perhaps use caution there.

I am so tired of buying stuff I just throw away.For at-home cake baking, I will always keep one or two of these around! Much better than disposable cardboard. And, no ugly edge to try and hide.
