TIC TFS6-CN 8" Professional Outdoor Weather-Resistant Coaxial Rock Speaker (Canyon)

Update: survived flood of 2016 & survived Harvey 2017. Both years, speakers were completely under water from flooding.I purchased these speakers 5 years ago and put them in my flower beds around our new pool. They sound great and haven't had any issues. They have survived tropical storms, a massive flood, and lots of rain, no problems. Love them!

Do you remember how much you used to spend on stereo equipment, especially speakers? I bought these speakers without listening to them, which is the number one no no when purchasing speakers. I figured if I did not like them I would simply return them. I was very surprised to see how nice these speakers sounded. Nice Lows, No distortion, and just a nice full sound. These are a great look as well. they sit on my pavers and match quite nicely. The price works for me in a big way . For $85 each (Free Shipping) you can't beat the value. I purchased 4 of these speakers and 1 Tic tfs50 sub for my patio. I have them hooked up to a Speakercraft 8 ch amp and they sound great. Once my landscape is complete I may get a few more, I have a large backyard. These speakers are great.

For an outdoor speaker they sound very good. I've had some for a couple of years and they still work well. This purchase was to add another pair to cover more area. They're good solid speakers that sound very good and handle the weather. If you can handle a slightly larger size "rock", I'd recommend you consider the TIC TFS10's (which I also have in another part of the backyard). They sound a little better than the smaller TFS6's. They both have the same speaker inside but the larger size of the TFS10 cabinet seems to contribute to the better overall sound (or maybe it just has to do with where they're placed).

I ordered the speakers to use in my backyard along with other outdoor speakers. I use them for music and to also act as front speakers for and outdoor video projection system. The speakers sound good although I would like a little more powerful sound on the low end. So far so go.
