Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleansing Pads, 50 Count

Having suffered from hormonal adult acne for some time and feeling insecure, not confident, and unattractive, I have tried numerous products to help eliminate or even reduce the problem and frequency of outbreaks. I came across an article that stated that the majority of ALL acne comes from dying mites that live in your bed and sadly take up residence on your face. Further readings had suggested that Tea Tree Oil and Lavender kills this bacteria due to its anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. So, I purchased these pads for my face during the day. Almost instantly after using these pads, I could tell an immediate difference. I also purchased some Neutrogena Nightly Stress Control Acne pads but what I found was I would use the Neutrogena pads first, then use these pads, and because these pads are more coarse and fibrous, you could see all the oil dirt and debris that the OTHER pads left behind! I am thrilled with this product, have seen real, incredible results in a short amount of time, and they use a lot of natural ingredients, oils, and herbs. These pads are real nice and coarse, they act as a microdermabrasion without scratches and really cleans all the grit and grime from your face. In reality, no one can take a shower every time, multiple times during the day, when they feel oily and dirty, but using these at lunch and in the evening makes you feel clean and renewed. Perfect for oily skin types and acne ridden faces. I highly recommend this product and is the best I have ever used for acne treatments. The only down-side for me, personally, is I hate the smell of Tea Tree Oil, it is not a sweet feminine fragrance and I really do not want people to associate the scent with me because it is strong and earthy. But this is just a personal preference. In addition, I would consider this product uni-sex, almost favoring males however because of the earthy smell, but the results are so extreme, that this is something I can easily overcome and is worth a clean and clear complexion that bolsters my confidence and attractiveness!

Please Note; I do not have sensitive skin and I'm a combination/oily skin type. I highly suggest if ou yhave sensitive skin, don't use the pads to start. Use your own cotton ball or soft pad, soak up the liquid by pressing it against the stack of pads in the container, then try it on your skin. I would hate for you to toss this away when it was the pads that are causing you problems not all of the wonderful benefits of the ingredients. The pads can be a little scratchy which is great for me for exfoliation but I'm sure not for everyone. There is ONE side that is soft but I can not figure out which until it's on my skin. Anyway for my skin this is how this product performs... This seems like a very powerful product, the smell is very strong at first as well BUT they do a great job. After trying I would say at least 30 different face wipes or pads in the past I've never found one that works like this. When I am done washing my face or if I have no makeup on and I just want to clean up before I go to bed, I use it. If it's the middle of the day and I've gotten all sweaty and want to quickly clean and treat my face, I use it. It's also good with taking the heavier amount of my makeup off before I go washing my face and I use it after cleansing in certain areas were I have acne or oil issues.. Shortly after applying the strong smell dissipates and my face feels clean and cool. Even with out makeup you can see the dirt it's taken off of your face on the pad.. The pads seem to have two sides. One is a side that exfoliates, which I like a lot. I do wish I could find just the liquid so it would be easier to store in my bag, my bag of skincare products I mean. It's worth hauling round this container separately though. It's just that good for me. Keep an eye out in your stores becuase after I ordered this on Amazon, then I ended up finding it inmy grocery store that carries all natural products at a cheaper price. Not much but a little. So I grabbed it up becuase I don't want to be caught not having a back up of this stuff. I hope they never stop making it.

I like to read reviews before buying, they ussually help a lot, so I hope this help somebody in return. I have been privileged with combo (oily/sensitive) skin, very oily Tzone, but very sensitive forehead sides and cheeks, acne prone jawline, blackheads on my nose and cheeks and white heads on my chin. Well, I have always have the habit of washing my face tree times a day, and never ever sleep with make up on, aldo I just wear blush, mascara and browliner, sometimes bbcream, but not everyday. Now I am on my 30's and this is the middle of winter, so I began to wonder what could I do to take care of my skin most properly and I run in varios articles of Korean Skin Care, I have adopted some steps includin one product per week so I can give my skin a decent time to adap every prosuct because I was so afraid of the reactions. Finally, about this product, this are really good pads for removing all the dirt and sebum and everything that your face brings for a day outside, the smell is strong tea tree oil wish I love and they leave my skin very clean whit no drying sensation at all; I have to say thay I use them with very gentle motion over my face beacuse I can feel some exfoliation on my sensitive skin, nothing burnig. But a little bit hot in some areas when I finish, maybe because of the ribbed desing of the pads, I still gave these 5 stars because my blacheads, white heads have cleared a lot since I kind of adopted this skincare method, very happy, will continue to shop when I ran out and I have all ready recomended to friends and family and shared a few with them to try.

Wow! These TEA TREE facial cleansing pads leave my face so clean and lovely feeling with no residue. The pads make my face smell fresh and clean and it feels squeaky clean as well. This is a natural product that is a real winner. I have purchased this product many many times and will continue to do so. It works really well and cleans well and smells good too. It does not burn or sting, but tightens, smooths and cleans my skin. The pads clean my pores well; is non oily, and leaves my face feeling refreshed as well as controlling mild acne. One last thing, it has some organic ingredients and is made in America from globally sourced ingredients. I hope my review helped you in choosing your next facial, cleansing pads. Happy washing.

I bought these to clean my eyes at the suggestion of my optometrist to help combat dermodex. Tea tree oil is amazing because it is antimicrobial but gentle. It says it’s safe for makeup removal but I do worry that getting it too close to the lash line might be bad for my eyes; if so, it would be great if this product had one diluted even more to be as safe as possible on the eyes. Overall though the product is good, especially compared to other comparable products out right now. As of the time I am writing this review, this product was the most affordable I could find, and I am content with it. It smells good and feels refreshing too. Just the right size for what I need. I would buy them again! I am reading reviews on here, where one mentions a film residue on the skin and one says the smell is nauseating. This is my first order of this product, so it is possible they got bad batches, or maybe it is not the product and it’s based on individual factors. For instance, it is pure tea tree oil. It will smell like tea tree oil. If you do not like the smell of tea tree oil, this is not the product for you. You could try testing out smelling tea tree elsewhere before buying to decide for yourself whether you like the smell or not, but I wouldn’t say it is an offensive smell whatsoever. I can’t speak for the person who mentioned a film residue, but the premise was a husband working and getting dirty.. I think these pads are helpful for removing some impurities (like makeup or some sebum), but I don’t think should take the place of actually washing one’s face.. perhaps the film residue was due to the husband’s skin or working long hours; in that case, washing face before using these pads is the only correct way to go tbh. Anyway, so far so good. Nothing life changing per se, but indeed helpful and less irritating for sensitive skin than, say, makeup-removing products on the market.

I've been using Desert Essence Tea Tree Pads for decades - I love these!! My skin has always felt refreshed and my pores seemingly looked cleaner and smaller, and I love that the ingredient formula is clean!! Unfortunately, I can't sustain the price - it's like twenty cents per pad. Time to move on to another brand. 😩

Knowing the benefits of Tree Tea Oil, I had looked forward to pre-loaded pads to clean our faces before bed. The Tea Tree is there, but it mingles with an alcohol odor, so instead of being a pleasant scent to fall asleep to we are left with this desire to get away from the smell. Which is difficult to do, being applied to our faces... The pads clean exceptionally well. I will give kudos to that aspect of the pads. It removes dirt and oil where I thought I was clean. I even believe it stops adult pimples from getting a foothold. I have applied it to pimples discovered while brushing my teeth at night, those ones where you see yourself and think, "What the Heck? Where did that come from?". In the morning, gone. No kidding. But the alcohol smell left behind by the pads is really, really strong. Some nights it makes me not want to use the product. If you are one bothered by strong smells, the alcohol-Tea Tree mixture may be too much for you. Which is a shame. This is a good product for cleansing the face before bed.

Love these pads. They leave your skin feeling fresh but not tight or dry. apply any moisturizer afterwards as part of your regular skin care regimen. my skin is VERY sensitive and i use these daily or every other day to get the day off and it doesnt affect me negatively at all. great for getting rid of pimples that have already emerged - few wipes of this and they start to go down. great for chest and back acne as well . i also love the smell of the tea tree oil! And, bonus, it came faster than i thought it would. its been delivered but still says out for delivery!

I have always had really bad acne but these are brilliant for preventing and getting rid of spots! If you have a raised spot, using one of these at night will mean the spot is gone or at least mostly gone by the next morning - I've tried many acne products but these are the best! Doesn't dry out your skin either!

Très bon produit pour les peaux grasses sujettes à imperfections, avec des disques bien imprégnés de liquide. On a vraiment l'impression que la peau est "désinfectée" lors de l'application, on ressent d'ailleurs une légère sensation de brûlure qui, heureusement, n'est qu'une impression. Le seul regret, c'est que les disques (50 par boîte) sont vraiment petits et minces (impossible donc de penser les utiliser par exemple sur le dos), si bien qu'on est obligé d'en utiliser minimum deux pour un démaquillage parfait (surtout si l'on a du fond de teint). Bien évidemment, à ne pas utiliser dans la zone près et sur les yeux.

Le disques sont bien humides et nettoyent tres bien la peaux. En plus, grace au Tea Tree, la peaux est bien disenfecte' et saine.
