It makes my hair appear thicker than it actually is, which is a bonus. Takes the crown above every other hair mousse I’ve tried and has become my trustworthy confidant and my new recruit in my arsenal. Thank God, it’s natural!! Phenomenal!!

It adds enough extra moisture that any tendency to frizziness is tamed

This is the hair product I’ve been forever missing in my life! I have wavy-to-curly hair (2C) and have always battled dryness. Even after making lifestyle changes (washing just once per week in warm water, sleeping on a silk pillowcase, using hydrating and high-quality conditioner, etc), my hair naturally wants to be a big round puff - dry, frizzy, and void of texture and shine. I’ve tried so many products that weren’t a match for my hair and would further dry it out. But ... This mousse does everything promised and more. My hair stays moisturized, has beautiful texture, and - here’s where it feels like magic - maintains its shape while feeling like I have little to no product in my hair! If you have the same hair type/issues, I feel like I’ve discovered the holy grail. After my hair has air-dried, I dampen it with Redken’s One United, then apply my tgin mousse. I then blow dry with cool air and style. It’s so incredibly easy, and my hair looks great all day.

I have used this on my hair for 3 weeks now and my hair has become much curlier but not in a bad way. It was fizzy and dry and always looked like I had just crawled out of bed. I am hoping I can get through the grow out phase using this.

I bought my first bottle early 2019 and loved it, I bought a second bottle in October 2020 and it’s a completely different product. The ingredient list doesn’t match my old bottle or the Amazon description. I don’t know if I received a copycat or if tgin reformulated their product. I REALLY hope it’s the former since I used to LOVE this product for my fine curly hair. Now it seems to dry it out. The new product doesn’t have honey or agave in it. See pics for comparison EDIT: The product has been reformulated, as the new version is also at Ulta. Looking into the new ingredients, they seem to be good quality although my hair doesn't love it. Upgraded to 3 stars since I want to support this brand. I was hoping for more transparency about their products

I L-O-V-E this mousse. TGIN products are natural and smell great. I use this as my 2nd, 3rd, 4th day curl refresher. I use a curl moisturizing spray to dampen my hair a bit, then i use this mousse in a circular motion to get my curls poppin. I sometimes add a little gel or curl cream after, but don't always need it after using the mousse. This holds my curl without making them crunchy. I'd also like to note that this does actually moisturize my hair, which is why I don't usually use a curl cream after using this. On the 3rd or 4th days, my curls may be wilting a bit, and I'll use a light gel for hold. It's also worth noting, this doesn't really hold, so if you're looking for hold - you need to follow this up with some gel.

My go to, natural mousse. I love that it's non aerosol and uses natural ingredients, it smells great, has a decent hold and lasts a long time. It's quite pricey but one bottle lasted me a year of almost daily use. I won't buy any other mousse now!

Smells really good and clean. Works well.

I'll start off by saying it is lightweight and it smells nice (very mild, limited fragrance). It held the bottom part of my curls ok but the top was terrible and frizzy. Maybe if you have less curl, or maybe it is just my hair type but it wasn't great. Going to keep trying a few other ways to see if I can use it or maybe just use it as a refresh product but yeah... Not the best value for dollar so far which is so disappointing.
