Used this to run my camper off my generator power. Does exactly what it should. So, regarding my next paragraph, don't blame this adapter for the problem if you have it. Just be aware in advance... If you use a generator with a surge protector/guard, it will likely give you warning/faults lights due to differences in wiring from a generator vs shore power. There are countless confusing articles and videos online about the topic. Research in advance for your application (open ground, neutral ground, bonding, ground-neutral bonding, etc.). There are "solutions" to make the error code/lights disappear, with various internet "experts" giving their advice on why they're right and everyone else is wrong.

This device connects your 30 amp generator outlet directly into your 30 amp port/cord on your RV. As any “newbie” knows about power and your RV, nothing is easy. Most generators with a 30 amp outlet has a different prong configuration than the 30 amp configuration on your RV? Why? That I don’t know, but with this connector, it allows for that connection. Camco makes good, sturdy products just for these occasions. Plugging requires enough tension to stay in place but not too much to make plugging and unplugging difficult. So far, all is good.

Like most Camco products, it's well made and does the job it's intended for. Happy with this purchase.

Easy to connect to my 3000 inverter Generac generator. I use my Generac generator when I go Boondocking at the beach where there is no hookups and at night when no sun for my solar panels.

I have a generator that needs a adapter to plug in my 30 amp rv plug. I had a plug adapter but I wanted this one because it has a short cord on it and it is much more secure than just the plug.

If you own a honda generator and a camper/toyhauler then this is a must. No complaints works well built strong!

Living in BC you need to buy equipment that works well in the rain. This sure does. It is easy to install and the quality is top notch. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been using this for a couple camping trips now attached to a Yamaha Inverter/generator. Does the job and really nice quality. Arrived really fast and was exactly what I was looking for. Feel this will serve us well for years to come.
