This might seem like a silly thing to own, bit it definitely comes in handy. Sure, you could use your fingers to rub diaper cream on your baby's bottom.... but then you have hands covered in diaper cream that you just rubbed on a baby's bottom. This is small enough that it won't get in the way on the changing table, and you can keep hand with the cream. It is flexible, with a broad enough tip to easily and quickly spread the cream on the bottom -- almost like a spatula. My daughter doesn't object to it at all either, so it must feel fine. It does have a suction cup on the bottom to stick to a hard surface, which can be handy if you aren't able to wipe it off right away and don't want to get cream on the changing pad. I find that using baby wipes will easily clean it off after use, and it can be washed in the sink easily too.

You know, I randomly saw this product while looking at baby items and read the reviews that were so good I felt like I had to try the applicator. I have eczema issues on my hands and with all of the hand washing and bottle washing I've been doing since the baby came into the picture, not having desitin on my hand that requires two rounds of washing to get it off is much appreciated. So I got this applicator, stuck a bit of diaper cream on it and easily swiped along the baby's bum and easily applied diaper cream just like advertised. My husband was a skeptic, honestly, but really it makes putting the cream on not only easier and less wear on your hands but it makes it FASTER which is appreciated when your baby likes to start peeing without warning when her diaper is off. I have to work very quickly and this little spatula thingy helps me zip along so I don't have to change her clothes, the changing pad cover, my shirt...whatever else...

I really didn’t think this would be that useful, but man was I wrong. This helps to put on diaper paste way smoother than with my hands and has a more even application without wasting too much product. There is much less mess involved too. I am so glad I ended up getting this for at home and the diaper bag.

At the beginning of my third (3) pregnancy I walked down the aisles looking at all the new gizmos and gadgets for babies. My husband and I specifically stopped to discuss this item. What a silly thing, right? Who can't just use the good old free finger technique (ew)? Then we had MONTHS of ear infections. In case you aren't familiar: ear infections = antibiotics = explosive stool. Because I was going through so much diaper rash cream/antifungal/Vaseline, I began buying in the large jars. Have you ever tried to stick your hand in a jar of diaper rash cream and/or Vaseline? You do not leave said jar unscathed. This product is soft for babies bums and it is flexible for the hard to reach areas of the jar. This product is so easy to clean AND the quality is great. I have 2 full size applicators and 1 travel sized. I did only give 4/5 stars regarding the suction because the suction will eventually unseal and you'll find your baby bum spatula on the floor. However, it WILL stay for the duration of a single diaper change.

Purchased this as part of a baby gift for a mom who had it on her registry. I’ve used these before for cleaning out baby bottles, they are great and do the job. I purchased the bottle brush in pink because the mom to be is expecting a baby girl. The color is bright and pretty.

I love the baby bum brush! I don't think they had these when I had my other children. My middle child used to get chronic diaper rashes and would need bum cream applied at every diaper change. I was always scrubbing diaper cream off my hands and I ended up with dry, chapped skin because of it. When I was having my 3rd child, I heard about this product and couldn't wait to try it out. I feel like the bum cream applies more evenly and the clean up is so easy. The suction bottom is very helpful for when it still has cream on it and i need a minute to fasten baby's diaper before cleaning up. I love that it stays suctioned to my shelf and doesn't fall over. I have literally bought this product for 4 baby showers in the past year because I love it so much. I consider this a must have product!
