1 Year later update This light does a good job. Purchased 2, then 2 more and now 1 year later 1 more. Giving this a 4 star NOT due to the product but to the installation instructions and hardware NOT included to properly mount this light. The light output is enough for total dark area to be well lit (see Lumen info below & picture). The metal bracket attached to the solar panel is flimsy (low grade metal) and would not support the weight of the unit without other methods used to secure panel. There is a general lack of screws and washers to properly install panel or light. You will need to supply your own. 1 year ago, a message was sent to manufacturer to update their installation instructions. They did put a “contact” method on the sheet now. Other than that, the directions are fairy poor. They do disagree with that assessment per their response a year ago. (See picture of paper insert). Installation is not really that hard. My installation is on a wood pole. Regardless of how power panel is mounted, flat surface like wall or roof the installation would still be problematic. I had to drill holes in the metal power frame where I wanted to attach a screw. Using ONLY the metal bracket provided, the weight of the power panel will not hold the panel in position securely without some other attachment method. A flat surface mount still would require some hole to insert a screw. The bracket is just not strong enough by itself. The bracket attached to the flood light is somewhat stronger. First, the ad is mis-leading. Maybe this light can output 24,000 Lumen. At factory default settings, output is about 4,000 lumen (see picture). I did question the manufacturer about this issue and got a vague answer. Overall the light output is enough in a total dark area to light up objects 50 or more feet away. So far, over for the last year, the light has had enough power to last all night without draining the battery. There are 4 of these across 200 foot (2 on each side pointed towards each other) and light output range is almost enough to cover that area from total dark to enough to identify objects and really see objects closer to the light pole. ******* 2021 review below **** Installation was fairly simple. Instructions are inadequate. To basic without good illustrations or descriptions. Included hardware is a little more complete but will need your own washers and screws. The U-Frame for both parts is flimsy - will not hold the weight of the unit good without bending. Our install put the solar panel bracket on the other side of the wood pole so the weight was offset allowing the panel itself to reset on the pole. A flat surface like a roof would also work. Pictures are lights on opposite sides of barn at complete dark - LED lights are what is making it look lighter. No other lighting around. Output of light is impressive. this area is a totally dark field at night. This brand seems to handle the 12 hour time limit and good coverage area of light. We purchased 2 and then 2 more. Worth the money. Install instructions (1 page) says call them if problems but no where will you find a way to contact them. Overall, pleased the the light output at factory settings. In a dark field in rural area with no other lighting, it does a good job.

These lights are one of the best investments I've made for my property. They light up a 200 ft. wide area at 20ft high off the ground and they shine out at 100+ft., an awesome light! I bought 2 of them over 5 years ago when they were $165, now they are half that price and still a great buy!! Well worth the money then and worth it now!

Bad quality. I chose this one because I thought it would stay off when not manually turned on, but it turns on at night even when nothing is moving near it. I have tried all the settings and the manual isnt helpful at all. After a few weeks of use it started strobing and blinking- its super bright, I must give credit. But when it turns on by itself and blinks super brightly all through the night, it gives my neighbors issues. I MUST go around the house and turn it off with the remote control every single evening when I don't want it blinking. Plus, when I actually want to use it to hit foam golf balls against the back of my house, it never is enough distance for it to turn on using motion sensing. The product listing brags about the distance it can be useful for and how adjustable and wonderful it is, but it's been horrible for me, starting right after the return window closed. One more con, it's not easy to use the extremely flimsy bracket to install it against a flat outdoor wall to be study enough. Edit: the seller reached out and offered wonderful post purchase support.

While the light seems well built and is not dim, this is no way any close to 18.000lm. I used it to backup a 2500lm LED light that was using power grid to have illumination also during grid outage. This "300W" LED light is not much brighter than the grid feed 2500lm lamp. I would say it is at best 3000-3500lm and maybe around 30W real LED power. The solar panel is reasonably big, should recharge it pretty quickly. Only one star due to the 18.000lm scam. update: after 3 days the light started to blink, then after one more day it stopped to work. completely dark and cannot be reactivated with remote control. complete scam! don't buy.

The solar post or wall lamp is a solid product with a good size panel. Negative I would mention that the panel is just on a simple and single U-type frame which needs additional support to not loosing it through strong winds or other impacts if not attached to a wall. To reinforce the panel frame you have to be artistic. Burns all night but I doubt the 23.000 Lumen if I compare to another lamp with 11.000 Luemn but electrical powered. Quality looks good for the price. Easy to insall and starts working right out of the box. Was also delivered in time! The range of the remopte control is a bit poor. Perhaps not more than 30 to max. 40 ft.

This light works geat. Stays on all night long. Very bright. Z brackets will fit with slight modifications for roof mounting. See photo. The battery is charged by 3 o’clock on a normal day, and still manages to get a good charge when cloudy. I bought plastic Christmas light clips for clean wiring. The remote is very handy for adjusting settings. Light brightness. Light timer, on, off, and auto (dusk to dawn) The remote range is terrible, maybe 2 or 3 feet.

I have four of these lights inside a barn. They are very bright and luminate the 40' x 40' interior well from the 16' high walls. However, since they come on automatically and the automation cannot be turned off, after three days cloudiness and rain, the internal batteries are completely depleted and the lights become useless. If it were sunny, the panels are in a position to get full sunlight and would be completely charged. If the automation could be turned off, then the batteries could hold enough charge to be more useful. I will not buy again and will look for replacements, as they are not reliable.

I bought one for our Air Bnb to try them out about a year ago. Even after a year they last all night on full power. Bought a second one for House about 4 months ago. Lights up my trees. Now I see they have a 30,000 Light. Just ordered one of those. If you have property you can light it all up at night. Don't need any Wifi or power at all. Our first one we use to light up our entire pool cage all night at our Air Bnb and its great for security. I will add a few more next year I think to light up the entire property.
