Quiet
This has been installed for almost 2 years and we use it mainly for exhausting hot air out of our camper. It is located in the bedroom and is quiet. The original one didn't work but the manufacture sent us a replacement and works perfect now. I installed a different fan in the kitchen and use it to blow air into the camper while this we use to exhaust. Makes nice air circulation and cools down the camper especially in he evening.

Much improved rain protection
We are full time RVers. In my 2017 RV I had 2 power roof vents that are controlled by a computer system. (Spyder). Sadly, these fans are no longer available and there is no direct replacement. One fan died and after a recommendation from E-Trailer I decided to try this one.Turns out that was a good choice! This unit is sleeker which will put less stress on the lid while driving. In fact, I'd be willing to drive with this one open! The fan is the same as my old unit, but this one is much quieter. My old fan had 2 speeds, this unit is a 10 speed. Because of the design, the lid covers the opening at all times so that rain cannot enter (unless it's wind driven). There is also a screen to keep critters out. Finally, although not compatible with my computerized wall switches, the remote control works perfectly fine to operate the unit.Very happy with this unit!!

Pretty quiet, circulates air better than expected
The media could not be loaded. It's pretty quiet. Pushes air pretty good, but not overwhelmingly to the point of annoying if you're standing under it. My last fan in my last van was a dometic, which worked really well but it was rather loud, and it was more like a tornado. But I should also note that Van was smaller. The remote is a lovely convenience. This fan has 10 speeds, and it reads as percentages on the remote screen. I've only used mine as air intake, haven't tried the exhaust function, don't really care. Overall quality, damn good. Very happy with it. For fellow Vanlifers, make a very strong note of having somebody with solid experience do the install. If the job is half assed, and it leaks water, you'll have mold in your future. Very very important that it's sealed correctly.

High quality fan
Good Fan. I installed this in our camper bath. I like this particularly because of the rain-proof cap. The main fan in our trailer has a rain sensor that closes the lid & shuts the fan down if raining. That results in no cross breeze through the trailer at all. This MaxxAir remains running in the rain and moves plenty of air to keep that breeze going. Its not too loud and installation was as expected. Good quality fan - Im happy with it.

Works great
When the fan stoped working on my 5th wheel camper I called the manufacturer and they told me that this unit was a great replacement because I didn’t even have to change the mounting bracket that was on my camper .So it has a very easy fix install in 35 min and works perfectly

Great UI on remote, easy to install and good performance!
Very happy with this product. We bought a 2017 Minnie Winnie and it didn't come with vent fans and also did not come wired for vent fans. After routing the wires from the nearest light receptacle I was able to install a fan in less than an hour. I installed 3 fans two of which is the 7500K and the 4500K ( I believe the K is the smoked lid designation). At first I was concerned about getting the interior darker because of the smoked lid, but I actually like it a lot and it cuts down visibility from the outside. It doesn't really cut down on heat, but it helps a bit. The fan is silent only on the lower settings 10%-40% but since it's a fan, it will give off sound at higher speeds but it's not that bad. We've turned this on while driving down the road at 65mph-70mph and it's great having it on and circulating air inside without having to turn on the cab AC. The other thing that I like about this fan is the ceiling fan mode, turn your cab AC on, turn the fan on (automatically opens and turns on fan) then close the vent, this action sends it to ceiling fan mode and this circulates the AC from the cab to the rest of the motorhome. It's great if you have at least two vent fans in your coach. The remotes are line of sight and found out that the remote for one of the 7500K will work on the 4500K as well. The remotes are not isolated, it might even work on a fan that is not in your RV, provided it's a MaxxFan and that it has a remote. All in all this was a great buy and really easy install.

SUPER QUIET
The MAXXAIR Maxxfan Deluxe Vent exceeds expectations as a ventilation solution for vans and RVs. After installation, I noticed an immediate improvement in air circulation and temperature control. While some reviews mention noise concerns, my experience has been quite different. At lower speeds, the fan operates with remarkable quietness - so much so that visual confirmation is needed to verify operation. Even at maximum speed, the noise level remains reasonable and unobtrusive. The fan's performance stands out, but one area for improvement is the installation process. A mounting template would streamline the setup considerably. Despite this minor drawback, the Maxxfan Deluxe has proven to be an excellent investment. Its combination of efficient ventilation and quiet operation makes it a valuable addition to any van or RV setup. The unit's ability to maintain comfortable interior conditions while running almost silently addresses one of the main concerns in mobile living spaces - maintaining comfort without excessive noise.
