It was fine to build, but frustrating to paint
Iv'e been waiting a month to get the supplies to make this, I started on it on Easter, But It was frustrating to paint, Model kits aren't supposed to be. It did turn out fine though, This was my first model kit ever to make. If I ever get anymore dinosaurs and things I have to build up, It'll just be the Dino-tales minis. Amazon wont let me put up pictures.

Kinda cheap and nasty
I purchased this for my son's class diorama and he ended up making one out of clay since this looked so fake and dated. We used it as a mold, so it served some purpose. The stance is all wrong and the pieces don't stay together AT all. It has to be glued and painted (for some reason I thought the paint would be included here) in order to look at all right... maybe useful for historical perspective. This is what T-Rex's were thought to look like 50 years ago.

A Fun Starter/Intermediate Kit With A Parent Or Mentor
This kit--like essentially ALL kits, does NOT include:1. Paint (Use acrylic on top of a spray grey or white)2. Glue (Thick Super Glue or Testors Plastic Cement)Again, always assume that model kits do not include the stuff cited above. This kit is good for the beginner because it's fairly easy to build with some supervision. Adult supervision should always be present when a kid is using chemicals of any kind. Paint and glue are chemicals--no exceptions. This kit is really good for painting experimentation. Several experimental coats will not harm the details--since there aren't many details in the first place. And it's quite inexpensive.Paint dinosaur models any way you want, since we can only guess at what color they were. Also, every year scientists are adding more and more feathers to conceptual drawings of dinosaurs.
