Works great - basic electrical wiring knowledge required
Took a bit of figuring out how to disable the ballast on the circuit board. This task is outlined with the included directions, every fixture is different. This is absolutely a must for the light to work properly. Once that is handled the lumen output on the new unit compared to the old fluorescent tubes is astonishing - easily double the output. Perfect part of the spectrum as well.

Twice as bright for half the power
Installed these in an old Coleman two-tube fluorescent lantern. Doubled the brightness at least with less power draw. They are set to reflect at 180 degrees instead of 360 degrees from a fluorescent tube.

6 inch LED Tubes
Used them to convert a 30 year old flourescent lantern and it worked! Brighter than the tubes that were in there.
