Nice Little Panel
So let's do a comparison between two small solar panels that Amazon sells. The Aleko 5 watt panel versus the Instapark 5 watt panel. First off, what you see in the picture is that exact same panel that arrived at my home. One reviewer stated that he or she received a different looking panel. I have (2) Aleko 5 watt panels and (3) Instapark 5 watt panels. Combined the Aleko gives me 10 watts and the Instapark gives me 15 watts. These panels are mounted and angled on pvc pipe. The Aleko 5 watt panel was $16.00 with free shipping and the Instapark was $25.00 with free shipping. Build quality is pretty close. Both have sturdy frames with tempered glass. Both are monocrystalline so the performance is very close between the two. I do like the shiny black epoxy looking back of the Instarpark compared to the white matte finish of the Aleko. The Instapark was assembled in a clean room and it's very doubtful the same can be said for the Aleko panels. There are very fine and small fuzzy threads in some areas of the panel ( you really have to look hard to find them ). No biggie, because it has no effect on the power output of the panel. Both the Aleko and Instapark panels have one common problem. The wires leading out of the junction box. You will see about a 1/4 inch of red and black wire coming out of the junction box before the wires go into insulation. I just move the insulated wire back up into the junction box and silicone them. Now is the Instapark 5 watt panel worth $9.00 dollars more then the Aleko, not really. It's all a matter of taste. Instapark panels are all black and Aleko is black, white and black. If you want to save money for more panels or a better charge controller, then by all means buy these Aleko panels. I just perfer smaller panels for mobility and less of a foot print. I can scatter 5 or 6 of these combined solar panels around with very little effort. Compared to having a couple of big solar panels saying hi as a drone flies by....

Very nice quality Monocrystalline panel
I bought one of these to replace a poorly made polycrystalline 5W panel from Ebay. The Ebay one had mis-aligned cells, cells with cracks (one cell broken in half) and issues with the tabbing. This Aleko 5W panel is BEAUTIFUL! Note that it does NOT match the photo though (I'll post a photo later). Segments are aligned well, tabbed conductors look good. No chips, no cracks. Short circuit amperage matches the label (0.32A).The only gripe, and it's small, is the aluminum frame is a bit thick at just under an inch (~0.95") and the corners are sharp. One other thing is after buying 2 more panels, one had some debris trapped in the EVA film - like the assembly house is not in a cleanroom (not that it needs to be). Very small debris - like a fine short fibers, thin like cat hair but only 1/8" long, and just a few.Overall a VERY good price with free prime shipping. I use these on my infrequently used cars to keep the battery topped up.

Built well and good enough for what i wanted it to do
Bought this to turn a relay on to disable a timer on fallback charging for my battery bank all the cloudy days we have had ive had to manually turn the charger on. This and 2 other items took care of that set the timer from 9am till about 1pm for it to work and this supplies power to a relay if its bright and sunny the relay turns on and disables the charger power source to charge. It is built as any other panel to be placed outside I was a bit dissapointed that it would not produce enough power by indirect sunlight to turn a relay on but owell i was honestly not expecting indirect sunlight to not work anyway. Setting out outside with the rest of my panels on the roof worked out just fine. Now all that is left is testing it under cloudy conditions with some luck it wont be to strong and let the fallback charger do its thing. The wire on this is NOT the normal wire you see on the larger panels its is every day standard stranded red and black wire 14 awg and only close to 10 inches long.

It looks like poor quality too
Item did not function when installed. I tried using my pond solar panel just to double check and the my pond unit worked, but this panel did not. So the unit was defective. It looks like poor quality too. I would absolutely not purchase this brand again.

Well built
Well built with a solid frame. It appears that it will perform for years to come in the remote systems that it will be powering.
