Does what it says it will do. Was looking for a device that covered the entire apparatus and not just plug/lock the faucet but leave the knob exposed. This method isn’t much of a deterrent because the thief still approaches the hose bib thinking they can turn the knob to steal the water. I wanted a device that clearly tells the thief from a distance to not bother approaching because the entire hose bib is under lock and key. And if they are that desperate to spend a bit of time to attempt the break-in of the the device then have it, my cameras will record them in the act. Thank you, Fozlock!

My wife's business is in a high foot traffic area. Often times, homeless people would wander by and use the spigots on the outside of her office building, sometimes leaving the water running or dripping. These (paired with a lock) made it extremely easy and reliable to prevent water usage by people passing by, and ensures that the water doesn't get left on.

It works well. I live in a big city that has tons of vagrants. My Ring camera had captured one stealing water from my front yard faucet last year, so I ordered this back then. The faucet is right outside my kid's room's window, and I didn't want anymore addicts to be enticed to tresspass on my property. I've seen a couple of more on camera since I installed this try and then quickly give up. One today was clearly frustrated on the Ring video and then left. With bolt cutters I'm sure they could get it off, but they'll hit up someone else's property instead. I've never seen anyone come back to try again, so it does its deterence job.

I purchased this in part because it says it can be used with a padlock that has a shackle diameter of 3/8 of an inch (0.375 inches or 9.5mm), it even recommends such a lock in the instructions, and lucky me I have several weather resistant padlocks of this size. Turns out this is false and you cannot fit such a lock on the device. The coating on the metal makes the hole diameter just a tad too small. This is disappointing because it tells me the manufacturer wrote up some instructions without even testing the device, so who knows what other corners were cut. Considering the price it really ought to come with an accurate description of its specs. The biggest standard shackle size you can fit through the hole is 5/16 of an inch (0.3125 inches or 8mm), so be aware of that if you are also buying a lock to go with it. Other than that annoyance, the device works as intended and seems well built.

First, I am an elderly woman with hand dexterity issues. Except for the screw to the faucet handle being frozen in place on my front yard faucet, this lock is super easy to install. Since I couldn't unscrew my handle, I couldn't use the included Fozlock security disc, but I managed to mickey mouse a collar which worked out the same. This really gives me piece of mind. Someone in the neighborhood thought it would be funny to glue my water hose to the faucet and punch holes in the hose line. On top of that, I would find puddles or dampness around the stonework surrounding the faucet. I love that this secures the faucet, looks attractive, and it can be locked. I keep the hose separated and locked up now as well. Water is expensive in California, as are plumbers who were nice enough to include cutting the hose off the faucet when they were out here visiting for another reason. I really appreciate this product!

I got these Fozz Locks after trying 2 other types of spigot locks. I had caught some workers from different companies taping into our water and needed to find a solution to stop them from doing that. Other brand designs not only would spin or shift around, but you could fit your finger into the gap or hole and still mess with the water. But these locks sit on the spigot so well, there seems to be no way for the spigot to be tampered with. It was a bit tricky to close it over the spigots at first but once the interior rubber material relaxed a bit, they were perfect. I am so thankful for this design.

This lock did not even remotely fit my faucet. For this to work, you must have at least an inch or so of pipe between the faucet and the exterior siding of your house. Mine snuggles right up to the siding. Also, my turn handle is on the diagonal facing ground...not upright like the one pictured. My fault for not noticing the design before purchasing. The lock is very solidly constructed. It is all metal and very heavy. The foam interior is a nice touch. It comes with a disk that you can attach under the turn handle to prevent the entire lock from being rotated from the outside. My concern right out of the box was the sheer weight and whether it might pull the plumbing pipe out of whack behind the wall. Having just paid good money to re-do the plumbing behind the garage wall and install new nozzle etc..I didn't want to take a chance on the weight.

I love these things. We had random people using out outside hoses at work and this product did the trick for locking up the spigots when we are not using them. The box is sturdy and fits over the faucet very well. If your faucet handle is not quiet lined up, you may have to adjust it to get it to fit in the box but otherwise, the box is roomy enough to accommodate most handle positions. This was a much cheaper alternative to locking up our faucets than our first attempt which meant getting an iron works guy to build a lockable box around the faucet. that cost 7 times more than this lock did.
