Let me tell you, these D’Addario celluloid picks are spectacular. Very classy. You get 25 of them, medium thickness (0.70 mm), perfect for both strumming and precise picking. They deliver that warm, natural tone you want, not some harsh plastic attack. The feel is smooth but not slippery, you can grip them nicely, they don’t feel cheap. Now, are they perfect? No. Celluloid tends to wear down faster than something like Ultex or Delrin, and under really aggressive playing some picks might snap or get rough edges. But for the price and what you get, it’s a fantastic value. I’d rate this 5 out of 5 stars, great tone, reliable, lots of picks so you won’t run out. Use them, enjoy the sound, people will notice. Fit great in the hands, great in the hands. No smell of fake CHINA plastic. I rock out like the true American I am. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Excellent choice at a good price.

These D'Addario celluloid picks are just right, comfortable to hold, great looking, not too thick or thin, and they give off a nice warm tone when playing. The medium gauge works great for both strumming and picking. I was surprised (in a good way) to find 26 picks in the pack instead of 25, thanks to the seller for that little extra! No complaints at all, just a solid, reliable pack of picks.

Nice feel and give although I still slightly prefer the Fender medium. I've been using Fender for some time so it's probably a psychological difference and not a physical difference.I use D'ADDARIO strings on some of my guitars. D'ADDARIO is one of the largest manufacturers of strings for stringed instruments in the world. The chances of a company that large risking everything by making a lousy pick is minuscule. So l will reiterate, D'Addario is a fine pick. Tonight I was practicing one of my favorite guitar exercises...scales. I would use a Fender medium pick (I've been using Fender mediums for a long time. I would then switchh to D'Addario and pick. I then switched to more difficult picking and by the end of my two hour session l was reaching for the D'Addario more often so I've answered my own question. Many thanks to Brian and his Stray Cats for finding my new pick and giving my Gretsch and me a workout. BTW: l use D'Addario strings on both my Gretsch guitars.
