Very user friendly product. I was not able to get the hair dryer method done but the warm water worked great. There is a technique to the dipping the bottles in the water to avoid having to cut excess material from the bottle. I would definitely buy again. For first time bottlers and labelers this a great product and does what it needs to. Hint: when you go to dip bottle in hot water go slow to allow excess at top to shrink and form to bottle.

Not for me.
I have tried these numerous times and they just dont work so well for me. If I use a hair dryer they shrink up unevenly and wrinkle badly. They shrink up better if you dip them in water, but then your lable gets wet and if you printed on regular paper, you just get a color running all over the label. That defeats the reason for getting them in the first place. So, its a good idea, but doesnt work for me. Might for you.

Before you even try the others, just buy this
I serched all over to find a good quality way to label my home brew. I've tried several printable labels and they all faded or fell off as soon as I put the beer on ice. This is definitely the way to go. Simply print your label on regular paper place it on the bottle, place the bottle in the plastic sleeve, and dip in hot water. The plastic sleeve immediately shrinks to the shape of the bottle. Cut off the excess and that's it. I washed these labeled bottles and sure enough the plastic coating was airtight, saving my labels

Works well when you do it right
Make sure you use boiling water. Don't try the hair dryer even though it's mentioned as an option. That won't get these hot enough. When applied right, they hold the label on well and even keep it pretty dry even in the cooler.

Great Item
This is great. It took a little bit to get used to using it. Make sure the water is completly boiling and dunk it in for a second, take it out then dunk it in again. It makes it have less wrinkles.

Cool idea but it's really hard to use without getting air bubbles trapped underneath it, and then it just looks junky.

do the milk trick or order stick-ons from somewhere like GrogTag.
These do not form a tight seal AT ALL. We had to hold the bottle in hot water for close to 90 second to get it to shrink somewhat tightly, and even then it looked crinkled and slid on the bottle. If you really want to label your beer, do the milk trick or order stick-ons from somewhere like GrogTag.

Needs lots of heat!
I’ve used a few of these now on 250ml bottles so smaller than the standard 330ml. I’ve run them under boiling water which works but the best option is a hot air gun. Works a treat!
