The Casio G-Shock GD-350-1B is exactly what I needed in a durable, everyday watch. As expected from G-Shock, it's built like a tank—shock-resistant, water-resistant up to 200 meters, and feels like it could survive almost anything. Whether I'm working out, hiking, or just wearing it day-to-day, this watch can take a beating and still look great.One of the standout features for me is the vibration alarm—perfect for waking up or getting reminders without a loud sound. The multiple alarm settings, world time feature, and countdown timer make it super versatile. The 1/100 second stopwatch is great for precise timing, especially during workouts or for sports. It’s also super easy to read, even in low light, thanks to the bright backlight.The watch is a bit bulky, but that’s expected with G-Shocks, and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable to wear. I usually wear mostly an Apple Watch and sometimes a watch with a manual or automatic movement. I wanted a watch with a vibrating alarm function like the one on my Apple Watch when going on travel, and so I got this G-Shock watch.At first, I did not like the controls -- the 4 buttons for setting the time, the alarm, the timer, etc. Compared to the user interface on the Apple Watch, this felt very uncomfortable to use. But I decided to give it a go, and actually got comfortable using it over the course of my trip.The vibrating clock, timer, and if you like, hourly reminder on the hour are great. I didn't always wake up to the alarm the way I do with my Apple watch, but the vibrating alarm did its job on most days.I wear reading glasses, but I was able to read the time even without my glasses, which was great! The light was also great to see the time in the dark (it would be fine even if it wasn't as bright as it was, although this may be something you can set). In terms the writing on the watch, I can't read it easily even with my glasses.Changing the time displayed as a went from one continent to another was easy -- you just change the offset from UTC for each timezone you're going to. I could also easily see my home time by pressing the bottom left button.The other watch I traveled with was a manual wind flieger from Stowa, but I was happy to use the G-Shock the whole trip and only wore the Stowa for the flight coming back home.Size-wise, it felt very comfortable on my wrist. It sits higher than any other watch I wear, but I got used to it. (other watches are round with a 40 or 42 mm width, or the Apple Watch Ultra). The strap and buckle were okay, but I will look at swapping it out for a NATO before my next travel adventure where I bring this watch.I'll look forward to using this G-Shock on my next travel adventure!

One feature of this watch that the cheaper vibrating gshock does not have is the snooze setting. Although the alarm only puts out about 10 strong bursts, if you choose snooze it will continue to do so every five minutes for about 7 rounds. This is plenty to get me up in the morning without fear if I miss it the first time. Time will tell how long the battery lasts, but so far so good. If only Casio would make this in a solar version!

Great product

This watch is amazing! The vibrating setting, chime or light flash work really well. The back light is very vibrant. I know the characters on the watch look small. I thought the same way. But they are actually a good size and very readable. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a first G-Shock on a budget.

Good value and strong watch. I will say a piece of the watch will rub into the back of your hand and make its a bit sore aside from the light weight and easy to set up the time
