Best Negative Display G-Shock
I'm a fan of Casio G-Shock Watches and own several. I own 2 versions of the GD350. Positive & Negative displays. This review focuses on the Negative display version though all the features are identical. Refer to the description for all the function & features of the watch itself. Concerning the display, in general, I'm not a huge fan of Negative display watches, but this one is different. The numbers are larger than most other G-Shock or Casio watches and this Negative display is quite legible compared to others. The digits are big and bold, easy to read in any light condition. It's a nice, chunky watch, but still wears very comfortably. Out of all my G-Shocks, this is one of my favorites. The main reason I purchased it is because of it's Vibration/Flash Alarm feature. None of my other G-Shocks have this, so this is what sold me on the GD350. On the downside, it isn't Tough Solar or Multi-Band 6. Generally, Tough Solar is a requirement for me when purchasing a G-Shock. However, it does have a battery with a life expectancy of 5 years which is something I can live with. I don't regret my purchases of these watches at all and they probably don't get the recognition they deserve. Setting them up is fairly easy. The only thing you need to pay attention to initially on setup is getting the UTC time correct so all the City World Time's display correctly. If you're not sure, simply Google the UTC time plus or minus to the city or time zone you're in. For example, I'm in Honolulu, so the UTC time is negative, -10 hours from HST or Honolulu Standard Time. Other than this, the rest of the setup is pretty straight forward, similar to other G-Shock watches. Another cool feature for this watch is that it has a scrolling readout of the entire city name and not just a typical abbreviation or airport code of the city like other G-Shocks. It also has a warning to let you know when the battery is low, needing replacement. Pretty useful features you don't find in other battery powered watches. The watch can be modified also if you want to change the strap thanks to JaysAndKays who makes adapters specific for the GD350. You can find JaysAndKays on ebay which is a Veteran owned and operated store. I'm running with a black, stainless steel bracelet on my Negative display while my positive, I went with a 1 piece NATO strap. JaysAndKays also stock Bull Bars for the GD350 adding extra protection for the watch crystal. The Bull Bars also look cool enhancing the appearance of the watch. So yeah, over all this is a solid G-Shock and probably the best example of how nice a Negative display can look. Well done Casio on this particular GD350, Negative display. 5*****Stars!

Easy to read and vibration function is AWESOME!
The display on this is possibly EASIER to read than many of my other Casio watches. The negative display never produces 'ghost' digits. It's sharp and clear. The vibration alarm is super useful. Many have said that it's the function you never knew you needed- and it is. I have the countdown timer set for 20 minutes and I can't tell you how many times I've realized I need to (go catch the train, feed the meter, not forget to call that person back, check the stove, go pick up the kid, rotate the laundry, etc) so I hit that dedicated countdown timer button, most the time without looking. When the watch vibrates, I remember the thing and go do it. I work in an office and I'm probably a little self-conscious of having a watch alarm go off in front of my co-workers. (Which is a little silly in a world full of cell phone pings and dings, but that's how I feel.) I'm hairy and the wings do pull my arm hair sometimes. Small inconvenience. I like the clasp, I like the light, I like the functions, I like the look, I like the size. I DO wish it had the repeating countdown function. That's useful sometimes. It's funny. I do some field work for my job, and I do a fair amount of hiking and backpacking. And this is the watch I wear to the office, and not on the trail. I've got a W800H-1AV which is an astonishingly good watch- especially for $12 and a G-shock square DW-5600E- one of those is usually my choice when I'm on the trail. They don't snag on the backpack straps when I'm slipping my pack on and off. I've blown the pins off several G-shocks doing that over the years. Slimness matters. The GD-350 is NOT slim. So I wear my skinny Casios on the trail and this hunk around the office- again, because of the vibe alarm. I love this watch. This is the most money I've EVER spent on a watch for myself and if I lost it or it blew up next week, I'd be on here ordering the exact same watch within days.

EASY TO READ DISPLAY!!!!!!!
Up to today I usually wear one of the Timex Expedition watches that also have a negative display (generally white numbers/letters on a black background). I was in the market for another watch because the Timex was getting worn down over the past year and a half. I was on the look out for a more durable watch that looked great and came across this G Shock and was immediately intrigued. After looking at other reviews, pictures, and video reviews I decided to give the watch a try and ordered it. I was still a little concerned mainly with the VISIBILITY of the display but upon seeing it for the first time in person I was blown away by the difference between this watch and my old Timex Expedition. You can 100% see the display easier even in dim indoor conditions. That alone was enough to make me happy with this watch. Among having a great negative display it has other basic functions such as setting up to 5 alarms, a stopwatch, and timer. You are able to set time zones and account for Daylight Savaging Time. My Timex was easier to navigate than the G Shock but nothing too difficult after tinkering for a few minutes and going through the manual provided. Other neat functions include an auto light fiction that turns the led back light on when you turn your wrist to look at the watch and the vibrate function if you don't want the beeping noise for an alarm. It's a big watch but not heavy or too bulky, at least for me. Comfortable so far and no complaints yet and I'm completely happy with this watch. A bit more than what I paid for my $40 Timex but I feel that his watch will last a lot longer is a superior watch overall. Hope this helps!

Remarkable time piece!!!
This watch is absolutely fantastic! I always wanted a G Shock and I did a ton of research before buying. The look, the features, everything was right, so I bought. I’ve been extremely happy. The buttons are not too hard to press, the text is clear and reads easy even though it’s a negative display. In my opinion, the negative display adds a rich feel to the watch and looks awesome! It doesn’t get the time by radio or have the solar charge feature, but everything else it does do is a really good trade-off and really makes up for those lacking features. The battery, so I’m told and have read, will last five years. And the watch has an auto-calendar that is accurate up to 15 seconds off a month and will be good until 2099 when set. Love the 5 alarms. The vibration feature might be my favorite feature. It’s not a cheesy vibration either. Feels like it has a nice subtle motor that is of quality. As big as the watch is, it is light and wears really nice. The world Time is amazing. The light to make the face visible in dark settings works really well. I love that you can set the light to stay on for different lengths of time. You can even set the light to automatically turn on when you raise your wrist to check the time. All-in-all, I’m not sure you can do any better when it comes to getting the most bang for your buck with this watch! Casio G Shock hit this one out of the park! I added bullbars to mine because it adds a little extra protection (not that it reallys needs it at all), and I love the look it adds to it. Hope this helps when making your decision.

Shakey, in a good way.
So far, so good. I haven't worn a watch in close to 20 years – I just look at my phone. The main reason I got this watch was an upcoming trip where I decided I didn't want to bring my phone but still needed to make connections on time etc. The main feature which led me to choose this model is the vibration alarm. It works like a charm. I can easily feel it every time and have even tested it with the watch worn over a sweatband. I felt the alarm just fine. You cannot hear the vibration as you can with a phone, so this makes a great silent notification. It works with hourly alarms, up to five different custom alarms, and the countdown timer. As for the reverse display, I find it perfectly easy to read and like the look of it. The watch seems slightly heavy to me, but that might just be because I'm so unused to wearing any watch. Being waterproof and rugged, I'm sure this will be my travel/camping watch from now on.

It has a VIBRATING ALARM!
I like everything about this watch. I’ve been wearing an Apple Watch for 2 years now. It’s lost it’s novelty for me. Maybe I’m not with the times, but I needed to get off the grid a little. I’m sick of being so tied into the world. All the texts, and calls, and emails, and being tied to a phone and all the charging... I just want to know the time. BUT I GOT ADDICTED TO APPLE’S VIBRATING ALARM. I’m one to use plenty of alarms throughout the day and I’m often wearing noise canceling headphones, even when I sleep. I work with loud machinery and like my silence when I can get it. So I need something more than just some chirps and beeps to get my attention. So after plenty of research, I found this G-Shock GD-350. It has a good size screen, looks nice, has this great light that can be set to automatically turn on when you move your wrist, it has a ton of world times that I’ll probably never use but is cool, it has a stopwatch, there is a great countdown timer that I actually do use often, 5 daily alarms, 1 one time alarm, a snooze alarm that can be silenced 7 times, if you’re the type to do so, it’s water resistant to 200 meters, way deeper than I’ll ever swim, it has a 5 year battery, and some other stuff that I’m sure I’m forgetting. It’s a great watch. The vibration is awesome. You can use beeps and alarms if you want, or just vibration or just beeps or even a combination of both. So if you like your quiet, or have hearing problems, or you live with someone that you don’t feel like you need to bother with your alarms, or maybe you just like vibrating alarms and don’t want to be tied to your phone, or maybe it’s a combination of these things or something I haven’t even thought of, this is a watch that you should take a look at. IT LOOKS GOOD IT FITS GOOD IT TELLS TIME IT HAS ALARMS IT’S DURABLE IT’S UNDER $100 If I could go back, I’d have gotten this instead of my Apple Watch. I buy a lot on Amazon. I don’t write a lot of reviews. I’m just pretty happy and amped up about this one.

Nice watch
First of all I ordered the 1B version but received the 8 which is the gray watch with the top green lcd color, not bad anyways. Now to the review, I decided to purchase this watch for the eye candy which I love how it looks and I need a G-shock for durability, etc. The watch is made of plastic but feels very sturdy, pressing the buttons is really simple and no need for manual is you have experience with G-shocks. In my opinion and for what I use the watch the only thing missing, is tough solar which I have no Idea why Casio did not include this feature with the watch. The vibe alarm is a nice feature and the majority are getting the watch for it, I have no use for it but can comment. Vibe Alarm is not strong enough to wake you up from deep sleep, if you happen to play soccer, football, etc. you might not feel it, you can also change the vibe feature and use the regular beep instead. Vibe Alarm can be useful when timer is done, any alarm set or hourly signal. And you do not want to disturb people around you while daily activity or for preference. Beeping Sound is moderate and not much to say about that, Stopwatch can measure up to 999 hours which I have not tried Timer, this a feature I can not live without. Having the ability to set also seconds is a plus, with my Riseman I was not able to do so. For example I have 10 minutes before I do a task which demands to be completed with perfection of time, I can set the timer for 9 mins 25 secs and come back in order to finish the job in time. I use it daily World time is nice but I have no use for it, also can use my iPhone for that. So Pros: * Big face, easy to read time or function indoor/outdoor * Very bright light for a watch * Solid built, can't go wrong with G-shocks * Vibe alarm, I don't use it but is a nice solid feature and in certain occasions I might use it * Dedicated timer button from timekeeping mode * Lightweight * Nice looking Cons * No tough solar, but has a nice CR2032 battery which will last at least 4 years with regular use Other comments: Some people have complained about the wings that helps keep the wrist in place, if this is an issue for you, you could just remove it using a small phillips screwdriver. Some others complain about the light being too bright, actually I prefer it this way and I am very light sensitive and have to use sunglasses even when is extremely cloudy. Looking directly to the watch at 3 or 5 am when pitch black is no problem and it does not bother my eyes.

Tough, Reliable, and Packed with Useful Features!
The Casio G-Shock GD-350-1B is exactly what I needed in a durable, everyday watch. As expected from G-Shock, it's built like a tank—shock-resistant, water-resistant up to 200 meters, and feels like it could survive almost anything. Whether I'm working out, hiking, or just wearing it day-to-day, this watch can take a beating and still look great. One of the standout features for me is the vibration alarm—perfect for waking up or getting reminders without a loud sound. The multiple alarm settings, world time feature, and countdown timer make it super versatile. The 1/100 second stopwatch is great for precise timing, especially during workouts or for sports. It’s also super easy to read, even in low light, thanks to the bright backlight. The watch is a bit bulky, but that’s expected with G-Shocks, and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable to wear. If you’re looking for a tough, functional watch with all the bells and whistles, the GD-350-1B is a fantastic choice! Pros: Extremely durable and shock-resistant 200M water resistance Vibration alarm and multiple alarms Easy-to-read display with bright backlight Packed with useful features like world time and countdown timer Cons: A bit bulky for some

Absolute Empfehlung jederzeit wieder.
