Vaunn Medical Cloud Air Whisper Quiet Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Topper with Pump Twin Size 36" x 78" x 3"

I bought this out of desperation for my bedbound mother. The visiting nurse was very concerned that she would get pressure sores/bedsores and said she had to be repeatedly "rotated" throughout the day/night. This is particularly hard as my mother would get extremely upset when rotated. She also has arthritis in both shoulders and both knees and I believe in her spine which made the "rotation" more uncomfortable for her. Concern for her long term well being made me go on a search and rescue deep dive on the internet. One of the suggestions was an "air pad" for the mattress to adjust and fluctuate to stop pressure points. I luckily found this on trusty Amazon and I am so very grateful. The pad is actually comfortable (I layed on it myself to be certain) and thankfully we have not had any pressure wounds. The motor itself is not terribly loud (mom and dad are both half deaf so they do not hear it at all) and it is not continuous. Great device that is well worth the price.

Excellent product for the cost. Some reviews commented about the slow air fill of the mattress. Initially the fill takes a short amount of time, however, the mattress is left on, not turned on and off. So the process of an initial air fill isn't a problem. For anyone who has risk for skin breakdown due to medical conditions or lack of mobility, this air pressure mattress significantly helps skin integrity. This device is so quiet you cannot hear the hum of the motor. I've placed this air mattress on top of the mattress protector under the fitted bed sheet for comfort. The initial odor of the mattress disappeared, overall it isn't a bad odor. The smell is similar to a pool blow up float.

Whisper quiet and adds a lot of comfort to the at home hospital bed.

I originally purchased this product for my mother. It was whispering quiet for the first few days but now all I hear is a faint buzzing sound. Other than that it's a wonderful product and works really well with the setting I have it set at to keep my mother comfortable.

Works great, took a couple says to get comfortable but my mom loves it. Definitely helps with circulation and pressure spots

My mom had terrible bedsores because I was unable to work and constantly move her every fifteen minutes as advised by her doctor. It got so bad that I thought it would kill her. Open wounds 2 inches wide on each hip bone area as well other pressure point skin damage. I searched on Amazon for a solution for this problem and found this alternating air mattress. It has been a godsend. It has been a long process but we’ve gotten my mom’s bedsores to completely heal. One physician said that her wounds might never completely close. With this mattress we’ve been able to heal and maintain her skin health. (With regular cleaning and wound care) Keep in mind that she only weighs 80 pounds now as she has atrophied quite a bit due to immobility. I’m not sure but a heavier person might need a stronger pump and more vigorous movement to get the same effect. Three years in, the pump and mattress are still going strong. I bought a second machine as a backup. The only complaint I have is that there are no wattage or amp numbers so I can determine the backup requirements to keep it running if there’s a power outage. Just got to overkill the backup I guess. All in all, a great quality machine that has been a blessing for my mom, family and my peace of mind.

I love this device for my aging parents, I tested every level on this device myself. I certainly recommend this item. My folks comfort spot was between level one to two. I will certainly invest in two more for my queen size bed.

I’ve ordered this product several times hoping to find a replacement that has some integrity. Everyone of them is a piece of crap. I ordered one in 2023 and it ran nonstop 24/7 for 2 years. Have been looking for a replacement ever since. I keep having to return them because the pressure pump is a piece of junk. Even at its highest setting, which kills my back, it does not have the power to keep my bum off the mattress. It is completely flat under my bum, defeating the purpose of not getting pressure sores in the most vulnerable area. They have cheapened this pump to the point that it is nothing but junk. Crappy Chinese made piece of junk. Guess I will have to find a different type of mattress topper or keep sending these back. Thankfully Amazon lets you send them back at no cost to you.
