Airfix R.M.S. Titanic Gift Set (1:700 Scale)

Thought it was perfect.My 12 year old put it together BY HIMSELF over the course of a weekend. He used it for a school project. It was the first model he’s ever put together- and although it doesn’t include too many “interesting” details- the level of skill needed to remove the little pieces and glue themTo the deck was enough to interest my kid for a weekend. It Kept him off the video games for a couple of days, so I think That’s worth 5 stars alone.Not a bad buy for the price

I really would not buy this if you are a experienced modeler. The parts are very small and break. For instance the bow crow's nest broke off the stern flag holder broke, the ladders to the crow's nest broke and much much more. Also, the stickers were impossible to take off the sticker sheet. I would only buy this if it is one of your first/first models and if you are a skilled modeler buy something bigger. I used tweezers to put the parts into the slots and uses scissors to cut the parts off the holder. P.S there are a few small parts that need to be painted.

Very fun to put together, but not a display object. fun for a beginner or child first model!

Making your own toy is probably the best.

I like it. My kid loved it for xmas. He's been fascinated by the titanic since a school project. Some very small parts for a 7 year old to glue, but that's what Dads and superglue are for right?

Bought it for my 11 year old, she loves it.
