It is OK....i installed it just like instructions and am a little disappointing by the sucking power. By previous vent hood was the same size footprint, but was rated at 450 CFM. It worked OK unless except I seared a steak on a super hot cast iron steak. When I did this, by whole kitchen and living room looked like a scene out of the movie Backdraft. So I figured if i purchased one twice as powerful it would alleviate the problem. Mind you, this is vented out by roof, and installed with less than 22 inches from my stove top. It is a marginal improvement when I sear, but there is still smoke in the house. The quality of the stainless steel is not up to my standards (can you say cheap chinese 304), it stains easily and the brushing of the stainless was done too course allowing grease to trap and end up looking like a zeabra that needs a bath if the intervals between cleaning go too long. I do like the illumination of the LED's, however i wish they were a different Kelvin rating maybe 3K instead of the 5K they seam to be. It doesn't go with most peoples kitchen lights, but only a minor detractor. For the money, this is a pretty good deal and their customer service was good during install.

I would not recommend this product customer service for this product is horrible, it's Extremely Loud and noisy you can't tell what speed it's in because they all sound the same and all feel the same through the exhaust ! So when you turn it on it will be no difference from high to low when it comes to the fan speed unit don't work right customer service is horrible they are no help once you buy it that's it that's all they care about I had mine put in by a licensed contractor and inspected by the state that I living !! When we told the seller it wasn't working right ? , the seller came up with all kind of stories !! The product is crappy & the seller is horrible !! , I would not not recommend this product.....

It shipped quickly in 2 boxes. One for the hood and one for the stack. It was packaged nice and secure so there was no damage to the item. My wife and I installed the hood with little issue in about 1 hour; the directions were really straight forward. We picked this unit because it had the lowest fan scone rating for this price range of a vent hood. Sleek style and a nice bonus was the LED lights (most units are still shipping with halogen bulbs). I would recommend this product to friends in the market for a vent hood. Oh, if you are like me and don't fully read the directions until just about complete. Spoiler {plug the unit in an outlet before you start to assemble} I read at the end that they will not accept a return no matter what after the unit is installed. They want you to fully test it first.

There are not a lot of reviews for kitchen range hoods. After reading reviews and watching YouTube videos of this product, I bought XtremeAir. Very happy so far. I have this over a 30" gas cooktop. Removes odors as well as heat. Not terribly loud like some reviews stated. I am very happy with this purchase!!!

Pros : Touch controls are nice and work well. Lites are OK but could be brighter. Maybe needs more of them. Good value and looks greatCons :1. Lower chimney NEEDS to go down into the unit by at least 5/8" more because there is a gap in front due to walls not being plumb and unit is cantilevered into the room 20" and leans down slightly.2. Mounting piece too flexible and allows the unit to lean down3. Upper chimney bracket instructions say to mount it all the way up to the ceiling. DON'T DO THIS. Holes for the upper chimney piece at at least 1/2" down and with drywall irregularities the adjustable bracket just doesn't adjust enough to allow the holes to line up.4. Baffles fit tight - this may be good or bad but were difficult to install.5. Not sure how you take a firmly attached protective film off the upper chimney when half of it is still inside the lower chimneyHave not tried the unit cooking yet but these are my first impressions doing the install

Good six months after installing and still running great no issues looks great also. Please note not all duct work is included but can easily be purchased from local home improvement store. Installed in a kitchen with 9 foot ceiling

Purchased this unit about 2 years ago. Works excellent. Unfortunately, just short of 2 years the power button on my unit failed. Thankfully, it failed in the On setting which means I can still use my circuit breaker to power the unit On and Off (other 3 buttons work fine). Contacted Wayfair who got me in touch with the Manufacturer. They really stand behind their product. They shipped me a new control board for the buttons and emailed me videos on how to replace it. The replacement worked for 4 days when the power button went out again. Contacted them again, and this time they sent me another new control board and also a new motherboard along with videos demonstrating how to replace them. Been working great since. Thank you so much XtremeAir USA!! So nice to deal with a company that stands behind their products!!!!
