Acetum Blaze Balsamic Glaze, 12.9 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

This was a gift that arrived promptly. They loved it on caprese salad when they visited us in NY. I don’t find the product locally nor can she where she lives. (AZ)

I’ve tried other balsamic glaze but this one is the best, I use that stuff on everything,

I tried this because it had 1/2 if not more sugar in each serving. At first it didn’t taste as good as the sugar loaded brands but now that I use it on a daily basis to put on my chopped up chicken, I love it. No guilty feelings and I love the taste. I’m on my 3rd order (pack of 2) now.

Our last bottle of Terra Creta Balsamic Cream ran out. This product from Crete does not seem to be available in the USA. After much hand-wringing, I bought a 2-bottle pack of Acetum Balsamic Glaze. It was a good buy. The Acetum Balsamic Glaze has a rich, smooth flavor, is affordably priced, and - most importantly - it is available from Amazon. This balsamic glaze is very, very good on caprese salad (tomato slices, mozzarella cheese, & fresh basil, and with ripe avacados.

I have been using this glaze for years on antipasto. All my guests seem to love it too. I give it to my grown children and friends as little gifts. I was pleased to see it in the larger size for my personal use, however, the one disappointment is in its wrapper.The wonderful flavor is the same, but after opening it using the perforated seam, the whole plastic wrapper lifts up and off entirely. When you lift the bottle, the wrapper comes up and the bottle slips out the bottom. I ammended the situation with some tape, but the design needs to be addressed.

This product is very versatile. I used it as a drizzle to accompany mini appetizer skewers of mini mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, black olives and fresh basil leaves. However, it can be used as a marinade on chicken and steak.

I've actually made the reduced Balsamic glaze & it is time consuming! Love to make Caprese Stuffed Avocado's which require this glaze. This is actually my second time back for this glaze because the price is right & it is the closest in taste to the one I make. Balsamic glaze will also prevent your avocado's from turning brown just like lemon juice, so this glaze serves two purposes. Keep up the great work Acetum on this glaze as I wouldn't like to go out and find a replacement.

Not sure how I missed the added sugar. No balsalmic worth this price should have added sugars. Never again. I'll go back to Due Vittorie Oro Gold - no added sugars and great flavor. I wish I could send this back as I'll never use it due to the added sugars.
