I'm a college professor and I need to staple two things: (1) papers, which are generally 30-50 pages (2) graded assignments, which are about the same length. Regular staplers are always failing me by not going through them all or being really difficult. My staplers always jam. My secretary had one of these and recommended it. It's perfect! It uses bigger staples (but not the huge ones that you sometimes get in heavy-duty staplers) and it has quite a bit of leverage for what it is. Every time I use it, the staples go in effortlessly and really hold the papers. I wouldn't use it for just a few pages (I use a cheap stapler for that), nor for 100+ pages, but it's perfect for 20-50 or so.

I recenlty pruchased two other, famous same brand staplers, they were terrible, and I rated them as such. This item came packed very well, with extra staples and presto! It worked and well.

The best heavy duty stapler that I have found that is affordable. I first tried the Bostich stapler that said it could staple up to 50 pages, which was a LIE! I tried to staple a packet of 38 pages and it wouldn't even go through that. I found this stapler at an affordable price compared to all the other ones that said it would do 50 pages, and it actually does. I have a couple different packets, some that were around 32 pages with others being up to 48 pages, and it stapled them with a breeze. It's easy to refill the staples with the push of the orange button in the back

It really works well. I love it. Works better with more than 10 papers. It's so heavy duty, if you use it on two paper, the prongs will come out on the other side. All I do is just use the back of the stapler to press them down. I'm always stapling 10 to 60 pages, so this works well for me. I love it !!!!

This could have easily been a 5 start review except for the Massive confusion over staple size and what happens if you use a staple too large for the intended job. This stapler ships with the huge 23/10, 10 mm (3/8 inch) staples intended for stapling up to 60 pages. Unless you're a lawyer, sending briefs to the Supreme Court, you may not be stapling such mammoth stacks of paper. There are two smaller options for staples: * 23/8, 8 mm (5/16 inch) staples intended for stapling up to 50 pages * 23/6, 6 mm (1/4 inch) staples intended for up to 30 pages I had some Swingline staples marked on the box as "Standard" staples. These worked too. I almost returned this stapler because the provided staples (23/10) curled upwards and created dangerous spears of sharp metal facing upwards. Rest your hand on top of one of these stapled pages would be a painful and swearworthy experience. I am here to save you from yourself!! However.... If you are stapling far fewer pages, the smallest staples, 23/6, (or Standard staples I tested) should work fine for most people who need to staple 30 for fewer pages. After purchasing this stapler and discovering the dangerous vertical barbs, I purchased a pack of 1/4 inch, 23/6 staples to test before returning the stapler for refund. The 1/4 inch, 23/6 staples do great, even when stapling TWO sheets of paper. NO dangerous barbs. Problem SOLVED!!! After installing the CORRECT staples, this is a very nice stapler. It seems to be well build, sturdy, and VERY easy to staple with very little downward pressure requred. Have you ever found yourself in danger of giving yourself a hernia because of the pressure required to staple a few sheets of paper? With this stapler, it won't happen because of the large lever you press that actives the actual stapler into action. If you're a 98 pound weakiing, this stapler if for YOU!! The only thing that might surprise you is the SIZE of the stapler. It is Larger than you might expect. That is because of the lever that leverages your stapling, requiring minimal strength and effort to staple. I mostly like everything about this stapler except for the idiocy of creating dangerous spikes if you're using a staple too large for the job. In my opinion, the seller has failed miserably when they included the Mamma Mia humongous staples instead of the smaller staples that most people need. It's a double failure by the seller because there is no warning in the description of the danger when the wrong staple is installed. If you can forgive the seller for these mistakes (which I have), then I would RECOMMEND this stapler as a BUY which should provide you with many years of use.

Works great on a big pile but I can't figure out how to staple just a few pieces of paper without the ends coming back out which is a safety hazard.... ++++++++Update++++++++++ I was using the wrong size staples! Once I got a smaller staple it works like a charm. I keep my larger staples for thick stacks of paper and smaller staples for thin. The push button feature makes it easy to change the staples quickly. I LOVE this stapler now! And so does the people who come to my office to borrow it

This was a great purchase! I'm constantly using a stapler at my job, and I keep breaking them. I love the fact that all I have to do is press down......and presto. The fact that it can go through so many sheets is fantastic. If I ever need another one, this is the one I will buy again.

This stapler works easily with little to no force. Amazing for lots of papers a one time, a little over kill for less. Must have specialty staples but definitely worth it. Its a hit in the copy room
