A Beast of a Knife
It's hard to add to all the positive reviews, but I am so impressed with the Warrior. And it is getting harder and harder to be impressed with so many good options in the budget knife category. What gets me excited is when you can watch the steady rise of a company like Harnds. Their first few offerings were very good quality, but times have changed and Chinese knife manufacturers have evolved at a blistering pace. And in order to keep up, a company has to up their game or be left behind.First of all, the sheath that the Warrior came with is surprisingly good. It is made of a stiff nylon/neoprene type material and it features a belt loop combined with a molle type vertical strap that is secured by velcro and a snap. Nevermind that the price of the Warrior is very reasonable, but the addition of such a nice sheath is very nice. The knife itself is an absolute beast at over 9" overall. But despite the fact that it weighs in at 6.9oz/195g it is perfectly balanced at the index finger. The liners have been skeletonized to lighten the overall weight and achieve this balance. I thought surely the specs were wrong because it feels much lighter in the hand, but I weighed it myself and was shocked, I thought it weighed much less. Holding the Warrior it just feels SOLID and confidence inspiring. The fit and finish is pretty much perfect. The liners and the screws are also gray titanium coated for a very tactical look with the OD green. Blade centering is perfect on my example. The grinds are even. There is the right amount of functional but not overly aggressive jimping on the blade and the rear of the handle which is hand-filling and comfortable. The factory sharpening was good, smoothly cutting copy paper.Let's get to the action on the Warrior, which runs on real phosphor bronze washers and not brass like some companies are starting to do. The first flip was crisp and the detent is dialed in perfectly for such a big blade. The flipper geometry contributes to the excellent action. It's buttery smooth and gets smoother and smoother with a little oil and break in time. In a world full of ball bearing flippers, a tough work knife on washers is a refreshing change and very practical as you won't have to worry so much about dirt or grit clogging the bearings. The blade is D2 tool steel and there are always doubts as to whether a Chinese company is being honest about the blade steel. I wanted to test the steel myself so I cut over 100ft of cardboard and carved on some wood. The blade was still sharp enough to slice paper with only minor edge issues that don't interfere with cutting. I've run this test with D2 from the likes of Bestech, CH Knives and others who have had their steels confirmed as D2 and the results have been very similar. I sharpened the Warrior and it behaves like D2 should. I see no reason to doubt that its real D2. It's definitely not 8Cr13 or 440C like Ganzo uses and the edge holds better than those steels. The pocket clip is rather large, but let's be honest the Warrior is a tool and not pocket jewelry. The shape fits easily onto the pocket and the tension is good. There is enough clearance so that you can fit it over thicker material.Overall, I don't think you could ask for more in a knife under $30 or even $50 for that matter. I am definitely going to keep my eye on Harnds because they've proven that they can deliver high quality and tremendous value in a very competitive market. If you're considering getting the Warrior go ahead and purchase with confidence.

I LOVE IT!
I love this knife. Its huge, the G10 is nice and grippy, the action is great, the blade takes an amazing edge... And the sound. OMG!This knife sounds amazing when opening. A nice audible THWACK.I love it.All that said, this is a big knife. So if your cool with that, I say but it.I got the drop point cause I dont like sharpening tanto blade, but you really cant go wrong with this model. The only issue I had, they fixed immediately so I wont even mention it. You can trust that if you have an issue with this knife, it will be remedied in a timely and friendly manner.Update: I received a Black G10/Drop point version as a replacement and I must say... I Am Very Happy! I absolutely LOVE it!This has become my favorite knife out of the 26 I have. The price is amazing for the knife you get. Its on bronze washers and the action is amazing. This knife is on par with my Civivi Praxis which costs twice as much and is on bearings. After now sharpening 2 Warriors, I am happy to say that the D2 seems to be quite good and takes a great edge/polish.This is one knife, company, and seller that Will Not disappoint.Thank you so much to the very kind woman who helped me. It really means alot. I look forward to reviewing more of your products in the future and Im sure I will love them just as much as my Warrior and my Knight.

Excellent Build Quality, Liner Lock Concern
Great looking folder and freaking huge, lol. Quality looks impeccable. The blade grinds are evenly done and the blade is very sharp out of the box. Everything is tight, smooth and very solid. I couldn't find a construction flaw.My only concern is the design of the blade lock. Given the scale of the knife the liner lock looks a bit skinny and it only engages the edge of the back side of the blade that it's supposed to lock against. The part of the blade that engages the liner lock is ground at an angle looking like the lock could slide off under pressure (you definitely do not want oil on that part of the blade). When fully extended the blade feels very solid but design of the liner lock does not inspire confidence in me so only four stars. However, since you are never, ever supposed to stab with a folder it's not a deal breaker.

Very Large flipper with gorgeous D2 blade
I thought I'd venture into the Large flipper arena with this purchase. I have above average hands and it's still a bit large for me. The action is smooth but a little held back. Perhaps that's a good thing so this huge slab of D2 doesn't swing back into your fingers. Harnds makes a really nice knife overall for a cheap price. The blade is gorgeous to me. You will find yourself rubbing it and all the smoothed over edges. The G10 scales are comfortable with skeletonized steel liners. I thought it was supposed to have Teflon type washers but they look brass-ish to me. They include a really nice molded nylon case/sheath with a drain hole, closer flap with a definitive snap closure and belt strap which can be opened via Velcro, which is a thoughtful addition. Even the little box that it comes in is nicer than much more expensive knives. All for less than $30? Can't complain! I'd like to continue to see more knives from Harnds.

Rambo and Croc Dundee approved...
Agree with all the great reviews here...this blade is massive and scary! A deep bellied slightly drop point modded Bowie style blade, very sharp, esp the serrations. Pivots so smoothly it's a Zen meditation experience just opening and closing it. I'll esp mention the finger flipper- works so fast and smooth it looks like a switchblade! I pity the fool that comes up against this blade, I really do. The craftmanship, fit and finish are precise, top notch. Harnds seem to be a game changer in the knife making world. A bit big and thick in the pocket for edc, but perfect for tactical/survival/self defense. Esp self defense! If I need a knife in my hand suddenly for that nasty kill-or-be-killed situation, I'll be quite confident with this one.

Big Boy!!
This is very well built fit and finish is spot on. Super Sharp out of Box (already cut me) it was a little stiff to operate out of the box but immediately loosened up and working properly. This is a very Large but Lightweight Pocket knife. If you have big Paws this will make a great fit. Would also make an awesome Gift and comes with a Pretty nice Sheath. Also the Pocket clip is nice and big with 3 screw attachment a big bonus in my opinion. Take this information from a Collector of over 300 pocket knives. Most definitely a keeper!UPDATE: I was Wrong after one day of carrying this knife Iโve learned that the Pivot Screw will not stay tight it literally fell apart in my pocket this is a major foul and itโs being returned immediately!

Really great! Big solid heavy-use knife
I read the reviews, and it totally lives up to expectations. Large, nice smooth action, comfortable handle feels great in the hand, centered and sharp, solid lock up, D2 blade. Great price for what you get!In the woods it performed well cutting vines and small branches, and notching logs.I was so happy with the quality, I ordered 2 other smaller Harnds knives. Those are good, but this beast is the best.

BUBBA SAYS BUY IT
If the Harnds Warrior folding knife I received in me recent Amazon order is representative of what's coming off the production line every day, I'd say this thing ranks up in the all time Top Ten of Best Folding Knives for $30 you'll find anywhere. The GOOD: (1) Made of quality materials not junk. (2) Big and brawny. A real daily working knife. (If you don't like big N' heavy don't buy it. This ain't no sissy blade). (3) Blade is straight & true and everything is tight where it should be tight. (4) Not sure if the blade really is made from D2 steel, but it sure sharpens and cuts like D2 so it'll do just fine till the real thing walks through the door. THE BAD & THE UGLY: Nuthin at all. Bubba says buy it. In fact, Bubba says buy two. One fer you and one fer Bobby Blue.
