Wow. Very interesting, and perfect for certain styles
I'm a long time water based pomade user, from slicked back to spiky styles. I've tried products that called themselves a "wax" - but apparently those were all fake waxes lol. THIS product is a real wax. Literally like candle wax with a touch of oil to make it smoother. It was a pain to put on, as it took forever to get off my hands. But once in, I had a malleable and good looking hairstyle for THREE DAYS. I kid you not, I slept on it, combed it in the morning, and it looked almost good as new. Scent was good, shine and style was good, and the adjustability was unmatched in any of the dozen pomades I have tried. Zero flakes. Zero crunch. For the right hairstyle and person, this is an excellent product. It was just a little too hard to apply for me (20 mins to get off my hands), and I think my hair looks better with the tighter look a water based pomade gives me (currently enjoying Uppercut Deluxe). But as far as real, excellent hair waxes go - this is phenomenal. 5 stars for the product, and I will keep it as an option for certain hair and beard styles. While I never did find a good way to get it off my hands, some trial and error did give me a good way to wash it out of my hair. I didn't see any reviews detailing this, so I will provide my steps here as a low cost degreaser routine. These steps seemed to get out about 95% of the Reuzel Pink Heavy Hold Grease in my longish hair (3-6 inch straight hair), without breaking the bank or taking too much time. shampoo: super cheap, basic suave clarifying shampoo. oil: coconut oil, although any vegetable oil may work comb: any comb or brush really, but something with wide and fine teeth seemed to work well. water temp: Anything but cold. Hotter = better. 1) Shampoo and rinse hair 2) Massage a literal handful of the oil into your hair. Let sit for 1-3 mins. 3) Comb hair through multiple directions 4) Add shampoo again. Lather well, right on top of of the oil. 5) Comb hair through multiple directions 6) Rinse 7) Shampoo and rinse Repeat as needed if you're having a tough time. It seems the oil and the comb help get the grease "mobile" so the shampoo can finally wash it away.

With 2 hacks - THE best hair product ever
If you read the reviews like most here, you have a good idea of the pros & cons of Reuzel Pink. I echo the general consensus - personally this stuff is my favorite hair product ever. I’ve tried at least 30 different products, of different types (clays, creams, pomades, fibers) from various manufacturers over the years - none of them touch Reuzel Pink. However, the two consistent knocks I read is that Reuzel Pink is a pain to wash out of your hair and off your hands - They are not wrong. I keep medium length hair that is fairly thick and wavy at about 6 inches on the top. I need control with some pliability, something that doesn’t dry out or cause flakes, the ability to re-style, smells good, and gives a look of healthy hair. Reuzel Pink is perfect for all of this. And I love this product so much that I dove in to how to make it more livable, meaning how the hell do I easily get this stuff off my hands and out of my hair when I need to? So, about those hacks to work around these cons... To wash this stuff off your hands, use a mechanics soap like Fast Orange Hand Soap. It seems excessive to have to buy a different soap just to wash hair product off your hands, but these kinds of orange pumice soaps are great in general. Chances are, if you work on cars you’re already familiar with soaps like these. This kind of soap smells great and easily gets Reuzel Pink product off your hands because it’s meant to eliminate grease and oil. As far as easily washing this out of your hair, Reuzel themselves have addressed this. If you search Reuzel Degrease Formula, you’ll find their instructions. Their daily hair conditioner on its own is a great conditioner. The peculiar thing here is that Reuzel instructs you to first apply the conditioner to DRY hair for a few minutes, then rinse it out. Next, Reuzel has a green scrubbing shampoo and a daily shampoo they recommend you use to finish this routine, in that order. I’ve done this and I like those products as well - but I think the key is applying the Reuzel conditioner to dry hair, before shampooing. I don’t always use the green scrubbing shampoo, as the daily shampoo seems sufficient. I also haven’t tried this with other conditioners, but I have used other shampoos with similar success. For me, this makes the Reuzel conditioner a must have, and the Reuzel shampoos as “nice-to-haves.” I don’t ever let myself get down to my last bottle of this conditioner before reordering. So those are workarounds for the only two cons I consistently see regarding this product. Yes, it takes more effort, but I’ve had both men and women stop me to ask what product I use. I’ve never had that happen wearing anything besides Reuzel Pink. I believe that kind of recognition speaks for itself. Hope this helps someone enjoy this stuff.

Easily reworkable throughout the day without making your hand and head feel oily. Also a lot easier to wash out compared to other oil based pomades on the market.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my fiancee - The overall product is very high quality, great scent, strong hold and shapes well! You only need a small amount in your palm and warm it up! There's a Reuzel tutorial online from the company itself! I recommend this for men who have the "twisted hair" or the hair that just won't cooperate. Even the Reuzel Blue is amazing for that too! Worth the price. Cheaper on Amazon than the website - won't need to pay the extra $10.00 for shipping from out of the country! Tip: Use Head & Shoulders to remove the wax! It cleans it right out!
