Love these poles but one became defective.
I bought these trekking poles for a long-planned walking trip in Europe. I bought them specifically because I needed to pack them in a small suitcase and needed tostow them collapsed. One became stuck and could not be collapsed (or fully expanded either). Frustrating.

Made in Tawain, 2 of 3 sections not locking or adjustable
I returned these trekking poles because they were too short...at 6' 4" they were just past my waist.Also the lower 2 sections are not locking and fell out.Also made in Tawain, not USA.

Love the size folded down
These fit perfectly in my EDC pack so when I am headed out for a hike I can carry everything within that and don’t have to carry my poles separately or tired to the outside. I am 5’8” and when they are put together but fully compressed my elbow is slightly bent less than 90 degrees, so if you are shorter you may have an issue with these poles.

Great quality
I've been hiking with Leki poles for over 10 years and the only reason I bought this model was so they would fit in my suitcase. They breakdown very easy, are lightweight, and easy to adjust. Worth the price!

Strong, light, and compact....
Wasn't happy with a Black Diamond set I previously had so I tried these.....and I was impressed. Clean build, comfortable handle, nice subtle details and most of all, they feel very strong and none of the rattles I got with Black Diamond.... Good job Leki

Incredibly Poor durability
I am an avid mountain running and use trekking poles on a regular basis. I have had durability issues with leki in the past but decided to give them another try since they feel so dialed when functioning properly. Unfortunately after two long runs I got burnt again by Leki as these poles will not collapse back down. On one pole, the middle section will not pull apart to collapse and on the other pole the top section will not slide back down when unlocked. I will stick with Black Diamond in the future
