Added support for tailgate.
Very easy to install. 2 of the 4 bolts (the 2 closest to the tailgate hinges) are too long for this application. When torqued to specs, they pop the inside tailgate panel off. I cut those 2 bolts down in order to close the inside panel all the way.

A must get part if you have aftermarket tires
Worth the investment. I had a 2014 JK with aftermarket tires that over the years caused the tail gate to not seat properly and created a gap that caused a vibration noise. This, hopefully, will prevent that. Take aways: The heads on the bolts should be black. Do NOT open the tailgate once you remove the four hinge bolts that are through the tail gate. I did not because I had removed the door bolts on the previous Jeep from the door itself and had a hard time getting it to fit properly after I reinstalled those bolts. Took about 30 Minutes to install. I recommend you install a tire relocating system, 2 brackets, while you are doing it. Moves the tire up about 2" and out about 1.5". Great product.

Two bolts (top/bottom) closest to gate hinges are TOO long and push the inside gate molded cover away from the gate. Had to substitute shorter bolts. Other than that, great product..

GOOD FINISH and FIT. NO problems with mounting hardware fitting
Great fit and finish. I did have to add the extension as the tires we prefer are THE ONLY 35x12.50 that haven't fit the factory size rim with larger tires. Radar Renegade RT, KNOW for being closer to actual size, Paired with the extender it's a great set up that raises the stakes for looks and performance of a well outfitted and USED off road machine. Went in easy and provides a ton more of confidence to the flimsy door metal, for larger/custom wheels/tires.

Does what it should
Does what its supposed to do. The supplies hardware is a tickle too long, but I didn't really worry about it. Seems to stiffen the door and it doesn't jiggle as much per bumps

Simple installation. No real complaints
Relatively easy to install and I feel better having a 37” spare on the back with this reinforcement bracket on. Hardest part was getting the spare back on. I wish the bolt heads were black though. Ordered some black rubber covers to fix that but overall pretty happy with this.

Great for appearance, ok for function
To start with, the product is solid. installation was easy. Did have to make modification to the hardware. The bolts supplied are too long, one lock washer broke as I was torquing it down. I did have to paint the bolts because I just did not like how the raw metal looked and was able to replace the lock washer. Unfortunately, it will not help keep the weight of the tire from flexing the tail gate on rough roads. I was able to get the tail gate to vibrate while mimicking being off road. For the price, I guess it works as it should for now. Will end up changing the set up as I build my Jeep for the Trails. Sorry Rough Country but I think this product is more for looks than functionality.

Very easy to install.
Very to install and more than enough for a stock wheel and tire.

Used for a year. Good, but would limit the load to narrow 35s max.
I had thos installed for almost a year now. This is not a bad product by all means, but I think it limits the tire size you can carry in term of weight. I bought this to reinforce the tailgate as I switched to 35 in. tires. can feel the original hinges flexing a bit when the tail door is open. However, It was easy to install and I combined it with a RC tire holder backing plate too. However, read the instructions carefully - you do need to reuse some of the original carrier bolts!

Lined up Perfectly.
Everything lined up perfectly. Extremely easy to install and i paired it up with the relocation kit.

Mounting bolts too long
Fit and appearance are great. The bolts they provide for mounting are too long and will pop the plastic off the inside of the tailgate. Bolts are also stainless in color for some reason when everything else is black. RC should provide black bolts that are shorter
