This toothbrush is a must for your dogs health. Dogs teeth need to be clean for good heart and organ health. People think it is just about bad breath and tartar. No, dogs get very sick, maybe slowly but very sick from bad oral health. The cleanings at the vet are expensive and very stressful (on the pet and the owner). I used a regular toothbrush with enzyme toothpaste for years on my dogs and the tartar and tooth decay kept happening anyway. The last time I had a dog in for cleaning my dog almost died. The vet uses gas which is gentler but things happen. After that I started researching other options and came upon this toothbrush. The dogs accept it right from the start because it doesn't make any noise or vibrate. I know, people think it isn't doing anything because it is silent and still. WRONG!! Use this bi-weekly, weekly whatever. My dogs teeth are as clean as the day they came home from the expensive, stressful cleaning a year and half later. This is a great product if you use it right. It works so well I bought the people version for my sister.....the dentist asked what the was doing because she has bad gums and they improved so much!! If you care about your dogs, get this toothbrush.

My dog just hated this. I used it for about a month, but have no confidence that it worked at all and my dog seemed pretty devastated every time I took it out. My dog had mild to moderate plaque/tartar/staining on her teeth. My dentist was beginning to get concerned, but did not think she needed a dental yet. After using this for a month, I noticed no change in her teeth. After switching to dental chews and daily manual brushing with dog-specific enzyme toothpaste, the plaque and tartar began to soften and sort of crumble off. There were a few hardened pieces of tartar that sort of lifted away from the tooth, and I peeled it off with my finger nails, but there was nothing that required a sharp dental tool or scraping (I would not do that myself). After a month with the chews and manual brushing, her teeth looked awesome. After several months of this, they've continued to improve. My vet said if we keep her teeth the way the look now, he doesn't think she'll ever need a dental again (she had one 3 years ago; she is 10 now). I'd go that route before wasting money on this.

Have been using the toothbrush for a week now! My little dog is not very resistant to the brush since u don‘t have to have any brushing movement inside the mouth! In the beginning I wasn’t sure whether the brush is working or not since there‘s no vibration or sounds indicating that it’s working. I looked up in Utube some user‘s videos on it n confirmed that I’m doing it correctly. Although the plagues r yet to be removed, I have already noticed that the stinky breath has gone!! It‘s an amazing improvement in just a week’s time!! ><

This toothbrush works great. I wish it didn't turn off on its own. I have no idea that it turns off while I using it so that is a huge waste. Now I turn it on and off every minute to make sure it is on.

My dog is 8 and never had professional cleaning at the vet. When he was a puppy I tried to brush his teeth but he hated it so I stopped. Have been feeding him greenie daily and vets never mentioned issues with his teeth, until last month. At the recent visit, vet is concerned with his teeth and suggested professional cleaning. I declined because I never want to put my dog to sleep unless I absolutely have to - there’s a risk that they might not wake up and that risk increases as they get older! So I bought this toothbrush and used it daily for about a week so far. My dog didn’t like it that much but was too food motivated to not let me do it lol although I’d say he licked off 50% toothpaste within 2 seconds so the effectiveness might be decreased due to to that. Despite this, I see visible improvements on his teeth - the yellow stuff around the roots of his teeth shrunk in size and some area started to look lighter yellow/white. It absolutely works! It is pricy but in the end it is cheaper then cleaning at vet and you do not need to put your dog to sleep. If you have multiple dogs, then it’s a no brainer that this saves you money big time.

My little dog’s teeth were professionally cleaned 12 months before I purchased this product (so no life time build up of tartar), I watched videos and made sure I understood how to use this toothbrush. I have been using it every day for about seven weeks (at least five minutes each session) and see no improvement. I’m not getting the result where you can begin to use the little stick and the plaque/tartar will start breaking away from their tooth. Since this product doesn’t make a noise and doesn’t vibrate and, so far, does nothing, I’m not sure if mine is defective or they don’t work in general. The light is on and that’s it. My one dog (12 years old), that I use this on daily, got used to it fairly easily — although she doesn’t enjoy it at all. My other little dog (14 years old) was too stressed and I wasn’t able to get him used to it. I felt like if we put the time and effort in, in a consistent way, we would see some good results. I am so disappointed. I’m also confused as to how it’s working so well for so many people on these reviews, but not at all for my dog. I will continue using it a while longer. If it ever helps I will update this review.

I’ve been using Emmi pet on my two 8 year old labs and my nieces golden retriever . I was using on Rosie the golden until she cracked her tooth chewing on a bone . She can tolerate regular brushing but until we see a vet about her tooth I won’t use the Emmi pet on her . My point is , it does emit something because she jerks away from the Emmi pet on that tooth .Don’t give up on Emmi because it’s quiet it doesn’t mean it’s not doing anything . Pleas be cautious and aware of any cracks or bad teeth in your pets mouth the Emmi will hurt your dog with what it emmits! With that said my male lab needs tarter removed off his teeth $600 ! I am going to use Emmi on him 2x daily to see if I see a change in the tarter build up .if so I’ll come back and post my review ! Thekey is if you don’t have time to brush your dogs teeth my vet suggested getting the enzymatic tooth paste in their mouth with your finger before bed , and anytime during the day . Lots of them on Amazon and your local vet should carry . 😊

So many issues with not just the product, but the seller as well. I'm not even sure the effectiveness of this product as it stopped working completely after 2 uses. After charging fully for 48 hours, it didn't even turn on anymore. No lights, nothing. Return process was difficult, Amazon told me I had to go through the seller, seller told me I had to go through Amazon. After weeks of hearing nothing despite the item being returned, I had to reach out to the company about the refund, which was then given the next day. Had I not reached out, I don't think I would have gotten that refund.

Jag har använt denna i 6 dagar (typ 5 minuter per dag) och min hunds tänder har blivit mycket vitare. Den tog bort missfärgningar nästan direkt. Så supernöjd med denna. Hans tandkött som började bli lite irriterat ser nu jättefint ut också. Har haft svårt att borsta tänderna på honom men denna godtar han, den är tyst och inga vibrationer, det är bara att hålla borsten stilla en stund (sekunder). Kommer rekommendera den till alla hundvänner jag känner.

If I could give 0 stars that would be more appropriate for this product or seller. The product came in good packaging however would not adequately charge and when the light would finally show some kinda charge , the brush would shut down in the middle of operation. after reading all the warnings and instructions we could definitely see that this product is defective and potentially dangerous for our family or a dog since electric or charging issue with this product. After reading a return the seller didn’t provide it to us and we are in the middle of a claim with Amazon to settle this serious problem. DO NOT buy, since it’s not safe and the seller doesn’t take responsibility for it’s product!!!
