Both an art book and a guide
Simple steps repeated through many examples to help you build a process. Reinforces the basics. No complicated theory just unlocking how to think about getting the fantastic creatures from concepts in your head onto paper. Nice solid cover covering the spiral binding for was of laying flat and working from.

Awesome book
This drawing book is amazing. I would not recommend it for young children. 8 and under, as I believe it might be a bit complex for them. It starts out with easy pictures, and advances to a more complex. I love it and found it perfect for my 14 yr old grandson. Now, the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the Prime packing envelope was unsealed. I feel fortunate that the book made it here undamaged, or worse, not at all.

This was part of my recently turned 12 year old granddaughters birthday gift. She is quite the artist. She requested this and loved it!

Supplies me with a look into how to draw properly
This stylized book of illustrations provides some insight into what the best of the best do. It draws a line in terms of where I should be aiming if I want to be a concept artist. And essentially, it has taught me that rendering is key and that it's something I need to work on.

Easy to follow
Got this for my husband as he wanted to learn to draw. The drawings are easy to follow and fun to do. Husband has gotten many hours and made some good progress with this book.
