They work but some not as well as other. On some but not all when I shut the light switch the momentum from the switch going down seems to send electricity back into the light causing a sudden split second flash of light. Kinda annoying for some switches but many weren't like this. Didnt realise until after installing them all over the house. Basically if I were to press down on the switch in the off position the lights will turn on. Release and they turn off.

Replaced 2 x 20-year old Leviton switches; they function as advertised. I used the side-mounted screw-down terminals, but there are also back-stab (push in) terminals. Manufacturing quality seems equal to the original Leviton switches used in our older, 1960s-era tract home (these are "residential" quality). These GE switches are not "silent," but the "click" sound they make is fairly quiet and muted. Very pleased, thus far.Note: I got the 5-pack (which is a good value if replacing 2 or more switches). Each individual switch came in OEM hang-tag packaging, and the 5 switches were packed into an after-market box.

Good product and with instructions it was easy to install. This saved me a trip to the big box store, that do not have instructions. I actually admit I didn't read the instructions initially and the switch only turned on the light from one location after I installed it. This is a 3 way switch and should operate one light from 2 locations. So I dug out the instructions and realize I miss matched the hot wire. I switched the wires and it works perfectly and looks good matching all others in the room.

My light switch was arcing from all the humidity over time. This switch works great and looks great for a replacement. The box has a diagram to help with the install. Color is true to the photo and matched my other switches.Price was better than my local hardware store.

This switch was purchased and installed in order to replace a defective 3-way switch. This switch was easy to install and there were installation instructions included with the product. I am very happy with this purchase especially considering the low price..

Very simple to install using the push-in holes; it was even easy to remove a wire from the push-in hole when I initially made a mistake. The same couldn't be said for the failing one of another brand that it replaced, where the wires would not release and had to be broken off. This is working perfectly with very little effort.

Used this to replace two disfunctioning switches by another manufacturer. These switches are good quality, and function as they should. I am glad that GE still makes switches, so that a decent quality switch is still available.Thanks for a quality product

Easy to use if you have installed a switch. However, the screws to mount to the electric box in the wall strip out very easily. Seems like they are made of cheap metal. other than that it is a decently solid switch.

Working as described.
