Grace Around The World

I was so elated when I got this package in my mail. The minute I opened it I could see how thoughtfully Mary (Jeff's mother) had packed everything together - the photos, boarding pass as well as the booklet inside. Reading and looking at everything was wonderful. The CD and Dvd of Grace Around The World contains the live shows that Jeff did and are ,ofcourse, incredible. Before I ordered this package I had everything that was available of Jeff's music, and was afraid that it would just be the same stuff. But this package contains very different and unique performances as well as the touching documentary ''Amazing Grace''. I'm so happy I chose to buy this - it keeps Jeff's memory, talent, and legacy alive. Much Love to all Jeff fans out there.

I love these Deluxe versions of Jeff Buckley and this is one of the best, if one is better then other, this might be the one to own. The DVD is excellent as well. What an amazingly talented songwriter he was. I always say what a shame he didn't have the time to leave a proper catalog. I recommend this to a beginner or the most hardcore fan. A must own.

Twelve years after Jeff Buckley's death, we are still presented with new items. Here we have a disk of live performances, both in DVD and CD form. The performances are tremendous as always, and it is interesting to see the camera movement in the MTV recordings, and the evil eyes Jeff gives them. Vancouver is always a pleasure to hear live because it was in the beginning stages at the time the band was touring; it turned into a gorgeous song. The "Star Tours" segment and Merri Cyr's interview are fabulous (albiet short) clips that showcase Jeff's sense of humor and sense of frustration with fame. Also included is a documentary called Amazing Grace made by a few fans. It is about Jeff's legacy through his fans, which runs the gamut of unknown painters and musicians to big names and friends. There are some really insightful comments about Jeff in the documentary, about his music and his own soul, why his music is so important to artists, and what he has inspired. The set also includes some cute little additions, like postcards, a copy of a backstage pass, Jeff's boarding pass, and a two-sided poster. Jeff lives and breathes through his music, and sets like this prolong his memory. It is truly beautiful.

I would say some of the footage you can find on youtube and other sites, but the videos are in much better quality. Also, some of the concert footage I have never seen before. Worth the buy if you're a Jeff Buckley fan.

I'm a hufe Jeff fan, owning almost every official release - and having seen many interviews, etc. on the Web. I hesitated to buy this, thinking that it might just be a re-packaging of everything I've seen before. It's way more than that. The "Amazing Grace" DVD is a great representation of Jeff. The interviews with the band and others (mainly David Fricke of Rolling Stone and Chris Cornell)confirm his talent and spirit - and legacy. Highly recommended.

This was such a great video. The insight into his being was far greater than I expected. The music was amazing of course. Not knowing who this person was prior to watching I feel deeply rewarded and enriched.

Se non siete fan, ma "ultimate" fan di Jeff, questo cofanetto è assolutamente da avere...un primo dvd mostra esibizioni live (in alcuni casi, veramente rare) nelle più disparate location in giro per il globo...come da titolo del resto...ed ogni esibizione, è intervallata da una pregevole intervista a tu per tu con Jeff...se non vi bastasse, visionato ciò, potrete procedere alle "bonus features": ulteriori esibizioni live e ancora, momenti dietro le quinte...interviste e una sezione veramente stupenda, dedicata alla vita "on the road" di Jeff e compagni... Se ad esempio, voleste poi rivivere l' esperienza al chiuso della vostra automobile, niente paura: è presente un secondo disco, formato cd, che riprende le esibizioni contenute nel dvd... Ma io parlavo di "ultimate" fan e dunque che fare, se il solo primo dvd non vi fosse bastato? Non temete...la chicca è presto a portata di mano: un secondo dvd (dunque terzo disco del cofanetto), contiene il bellissimo documentario su Jeff, "Amazing Grace"... Se come me avete familiarità con l' inglese e la storia di Jeff, tutto il dialogato risulterà facilmente fruibile...ma per onor di cronaca, segnalo la presenza di sottotitoli in multilingua, italiano compreso. E ancora...oltre ai dischi e al consueto libretto, troverete ulteriori gadget veramente pregevoli che sono convinto, apprezzerete moltissimo... A questo prezzo, un gioiello da procurarsi assolutamente... P.S. Personale nota di plauso ad Amazon: tempi celerissimi di consegna...grazie di cuore.

最近になって気になり始め「ＳＯ ＲＥＡＬ」を口ずさむくらい Ｊｅｆｆ ＢＵＣＫＬＥＹがお気に入りです。 最初は ＳＯ ＲＥＡＬのヴィデオを拝見して以来ただものではない なにか内秘めた神秘的なシンガーだなと思いました。 頭から曲が離れず以降こちらで商品を発見しましてうれしく思います。 ＪＥＦＦ氏はあまり笑顔をみせないクールな一面をもってるので、すこしでも笑顔をみしていただけたらなぁ・・・と ３０でいなくなるなんて悲しい。この同じ年代を感じきって商品をまじまじ見ようかな。 ＪＥＦＦのことしらないけど当時にタイムスリップしてライヴにいけたら「ジェーフ！！」と叫ぶだろう。 映像の中ではいきているので デラックス版でちいさな幸せをかみしめたい。 届いた品の感想☆ 海外品なのにシュリンクされているとろこから愛があります。 付属ポスターが角折れがあったのはすこしさみしかったもののデラックス版という分厚いもので届きうれしいです。 本品ＣＤ ＤＶＤを開けると ＪＡＰＡＮ ＴＯＵＲ のロゴがありました。 日本へ確かにライヴをしたという証が何よりも大喜びです。 本品は輸入品でありますが、リージョン関係なくＰＣで見れます。 英語字幕を日本に訳してみようと思います。ありがとうございます ＡＭＡＺＯＮ！

viel Material wird geboten, vieles vorher nicht veröffentlicht. Die Live-Auftritte des leider zu früh verstorbenen Sängers sind beeindruckend, leidenschaftlich und zeigen seine unglaubliche Wandlungsfähigkeit. Es wird klar, warum so viele aktuelle Künstler sich auf ihn berufen und von ihm inspiriert waren wie z.B. die Sänger von Radiohead und the Muse. Die Interviews erfreuen wohl eher das Herz echter Fans... Die Dokumentation Amazing Grace ist eine gut gemachte spannende Doku, wo vor allem diejenigen Künstler zu Wort kommen, die von Jeff Buckley inspiriert sind...
