hi can i purchase 1/2 of this quantity just way to much for me, please advise?

Thailand. But it's (literally) Kosher. Which means it's clean. It tastes fine. And is good for you.

It's exactly the same as canned fish. The difference is, that the can is shaped like a flat envelope, so that there is less fluid (water or oil) used in cooking, and the transportation cost is less. It seems that the pieces are also smaller. But "freshness" should be similar to canned. (On the one hand, I think that some canning is actually done on the boats, but probably not for the packets; on the other hand, the nature of the packet ought to preserve it slightly better.) But, does anybody know, what kind of mackerel, this actually is?
