I have a blue bike and I'm trying to give it pop with puple things, and things that are a mix of blue and purple - like the pictures of this bar tape are. At first I was going to return it because out of the package it didn't have this purple-ishness to it - it was mostly just a plain teal color with a shine. But I looked at the pictures in the reviews and it looked like what I wanted, so I decided to trust the process and wrapped my handlebars. I was VERY pleasantly surprised! It looked exactly like the pictures once it was on my bars. Some kind of witchcraft I guess! My bars now match my "blurple" iridescent water bottle cages almost exactly! And the finishing tape it comes with is very handsome and it has a rubbery, high quality feel to it. Seems like it isn't going to lift at the edges, but we'll see. The bar tape is also great quality. If feels really nice on my hands. My previous bar tape was the Fizik soft touch bar tape, and it literally lasted me 5 years. And even then I only changed it because I wanted a change, it could've gone a lot longer. So I guess it remains to be seen how this tape holds up in comparison. One thing the Fizik tape had that these don't was an extra bit of tape about 2 or 3 inches long to put on the brake lever mounts, to fill in the gaps from the direction changes there - but I just wrapped more carefully and you can barely see a gap just peeking out from under the hood. (In the picture I don't have the bar ends in yet... it does come with plain black plastic bar ends, but I ordered purple ones and they just haven't arrived yet, so that's why my bars are sans bar ends in the pic)

Great set of handlebar tape. Easy to install. They provided extra length so plenty of tape to figure eight wrap around shifters. The tape itself was nice and had a little stretch to make wrapping easy. Also feels good when on the trainer with a solid grip but not slippery. Also, looks cool. One month later, still looks great! Mostly lots of trainer time because if funky weather. I really like how resilient it is if you adjust brake levers abd need to retape.

I have this wrap on another bike but I was skeptical about how it would look and feel on my racing bike. It’s turning out to be one of my favorite wraps esp the price. It’s easy to install and very forgiving when I needed to unravel it to fix a mistake. Provides great cushion and just the right amount of grip. The slightly iridescent shine has grown on me too. Note that the images I took are brighter than what the wrap looks in person.

Great looking bar tape, I found that the tape is sticky and offers a good grip when dry but can be a bit slippery when wet or sweaty.

Color is great and actually appears just like in the image. The tape rolls are a little short so it took a few tries to get them to cover everything without gaps behind the hoods. Perfectly soft when using with gloves for long rides, the tape itself is quite thick too, so it makes for a comfortable enough ride on shorter ( 1 hour-ish) rides. I have this tape on my gravel bike and its held up great to miles and miles of rowdy off-road riding so far. I only wish it was a little shinyer when the light hits it, but that was never really advertised to happen either so no complaints.

I actually get compliments with this bar tape. It’s been on my bike for almost a year. Holding up perfectly. Someone mentioned that it might be slippery. I don’t find that to be the case. It was long enough to do my handlebars and my aerobars too.

Colour is fantastic. Tape is on the thinner side, not too soft or spongy. Not of the more “padded” style tapes, and seems just right to me. Very grippy, feels like high quality stuff.

This tape is very comfortable and cool looking. My only complaint is the adhesive strip could be better.
