First of all, NEVER declaw your cat, it’s mutilation. These are a great way to keep your cat from scratching the house up (if they don’t work...well...you got a cat you knew the possibility of scratching!).Just applied them to my 5 month old 9lb kitten. A size small was perfect for him. He’s usually not the best when getting his claws clipped but was surprisingly calm for all 10 claw covers. They slid on easily and aren’t super bulky as I worried. I will say that putting the glue in the covers was a nightmare. You’re only supposed to fill it a third full but I couldn’t even tell if there was any in there (or it overflowed and I had to empty some). I wish there was a better way. 2nd thing about the glue is you only get 5 bottles and I don’t yet know if the bottles are reusable. Like myself I imagine most people will only cover the front nails (I don’t clip his back nails either, no way is he letting that happen!). I think would be a better setup to have 10 glues that are half the size. Could be wrong though, maybe the glue will still be useable when these covers fall off.As for the kitty, he got one off almost immediately. I think it was my fault as I cut the nail a bit shorter than I should have. He messed with them quite a bit for the first 10 minutes but no others fell off (I tried to distract him with toys til they were dry and then if he’s going to bite them off he’s going to bite them off).I suggest watching videos of others doing this if you haven’t done it before, I found it very helpful. Also it’s helpful to fill all the nails before you grab kitty (you’d think that’s a duh but I honestly hadn’t thought about it before I watched a video). This way you’re not struggling with glue and kitty and the glue has some time to get tacky before application. Also! Don’t forget to have treats on hand. I gave mine treats before and a little tuna when we finished!I am worried about how these covers will affect his ability to use his 5ft tall cat tree. There are ledges so he should be fine, however he did almost fall off it the first time I clipped his nails! Will update with a picture if he will let me and any more notes on the glue situation as well as how well they stay on.UPDATE 1:Pic posted. Cut out his little face because the flash made him look crazy. Kitty has medium fur so you can’t see the claws very well most of the time. He was pushing his paws against the chair here so the claws were actually out. If you really want to see the covers with a longer dark haired cat, get something neon!Another cover fell off on day one which I suspect is due to (my error) either cutting his claws too short or too little glue in the cap. Replaced both caps and on day three they’re still in place. I guess this means I have 8 more caps in case others fall off early.In regard to my glue concerns; I’m still wondering if it will be ok in 4-6 weeks. For a few days, it was fine. You just have to use a large safety pin to clear the cap of the dried glue.Also, he seems to have no trouble with his cat tree. Will be on the ground one second and at the top the next (fell off once but it was entirely his fault, no way could his front claws have saved him 🤣🤣🤣). He still scratches at everything as though he had no covers on, btw. Doesn’t seem to care about them at all.Changed my review to 5 stars at this point. Unless the glue is useless in 4-6 weeks I think these caps are a winner for sure.

I was looking for a way to get my cat to quit tearing up my bedding when she would roll around on my bed. I clip her nails regularly and it wasn't quite enough. I was given a set of these by a friend, and while I was skeptical initially, they work fantastically! There was a small learning curve, in how much glue to put into the cap before applying and I put too much in, and got some of her fur in one nail on my first go around with them, she didn't fuss too much when putting them on. It took over a month before she lost the first one, and then a second one about a week later. There was no freak out, no walking funny, no excessive licking, she used the litter box normally, in layman's terms, she liked them too. The picture is of my second application and she did great with this application as well. She was mad for all of 10 minutes after because she doesn't like her paws being messed with. I definitely bought too small a size when I ordered them, but they still went on easily enough so I hope they hold out. They are worth the money spent, and when I finish this set, the next size up will be a great fit. Both kitty and Cat mom are satisfied! Two paws up!

These nail caps are perfect for my 12-week-old kitten! They’ve really helped prevent her from scratching our skin and furniture. The colors are fun and cute, and the set includes plenty of caps and glue to last a while.That said, they’re not the easiest to put on—it takes some patience, especially with a wiggly kitten. And even when applied correctly, a few caps tend to fall off sooner than expected, so you may need to reapply from time to time.Still, they’re very effective for scratch control, and I’ll keep using them.

My poor cat has been tearing everything up lately. I’ve had more problems with her tearing stuff up now than when I had when she was a kitten. She’s almost 4 years old coming this October. They were fairly easy to put on, she didn’t really give me that much of a hard time. They are a bit messy though so I used gloves to keep the glue off my hands. It’s been a month since I put them on her and they’re just now getting to the point of needing to replace them. I would definitely recommend these to anybody, so far they seem to be working with keeping my furniture and walls safe.

Got to my second cat and when pressing them until glue dried, some glue got on me and started burning. As if the glue was hot. I read a review on here to just put a drop and store in frig once done. Would just like to add that if you are doing several cats at once. The glue becomes hot. Get medium. I have a kitten and then full adult cats. Medium covers kittens all the way and a good amount on adults (given I did not clip adults nails before placing them) my kitten allowed me but not the adults. They still hold on pretty good. Saves my couch. 3 stars because of the glue.

My cat is adopted from a shelter and very timid. Her first reaction to anything unfamiliar - even a small noise - is to run away, which often led to scratches. These nail are perfect for your kitty if you are trying to keep them from scratching up furniture. My cat hates when I put them on but after a few minutes she is walking around just fine. The material is soft and sturdy on her nails

I love the colors. The size works well for my adult cat (13lbs). They are easy to work with for nail caps. Usually the first nail cap falls off within 3 days and the rest slowly follow suit over the next 2 months. I usually give him about a week break before putting on the next round. I do wish there were more adhesives with these since they don't save well once they are opened and I only use them on the front paws.

Je suis vraiment content du résultat. Je ne savais pas à quoi m’attendre et je ne suis pas déçu . Il est certain qu’il est préférable de faire la pose à deux . Toutefois, c’est facile et l’applicateur pour la colle va vraiment bien. Il reste en place quand même longtemps, je n’étais pas certain si les caches griffes allaient rester en place, mais finalement mon chat en a perdu seulement un ce qui est très bien !

It comes with glue! I thought it could fit the nail but having to glue it on a cats nail is not acceptable

Love the claws! Gorgeous and flawless. It teaches them a lesson when they scratch furnitures! They haven't scratched anything for a whole month without these caps... until they saw a pigeon on our balcony 🙄 haha! I see lots of negative comments but its the way you put the claws and the amount of glue you add. You also need to cut the claws ish short but leave it ish long, and trim the little fur if it gets in the way and gently press the paw for the claws to pop up. Of course it will go wrong if you don't follow the rules and if you don't have the hang of it. Anywho, thanks again Amazon! :) always satisfied :)

I bought the size Large because I have a Ragdoll. I should have take size M. I cut them a bit, then kind of “opened” them all in advance. They fit well on most claws but his back claws are too short to put them on, and he lost one on his front paw/side claw. It’s a bit of work to do it alone, but the glue seems to dry quite fast so even with some wiggles, there was no issues. The glue is quite strong, I didn’t wear gloves but will for the next time! He really doesn’t seem to mind them at all :)

Don't over fill with glue or it will stick to the fur around the nail and/or get into the bed.My cats were not happy with them on and licked and bit at their paws for a a short period before accepting their fabulous pawticure. My couches are happy now!
