BLACKHAWK SERPA Concealment Holster - Matte Finish, Size 25, Left Hand, (Smith & Wesson M & P)

High quality product! This is my 3rd Blackhawk holster. I have tried many other types and brands and finally found something I am truly happy with particularly since I'm left handed. I have never liked top break straps. They always seem to get in the way either on the draw or re-holster. And if you've ever had a weapon fall out of a slip fit/tension holster it's just plain embarrassing. These holsters a slim and work well for concealed carry. Most of these holsters come with both belt and waist band insert paddle. They are not fancy but they work! To me a holster is not a fashion statement. Form and function out rule pretty. The trigger guard lock/release provides excellent security against loss from holster and is easy to operate. Re-holster is a no brainer "click" and its locked in. No strap or snaps to fumble with. Another feature is if they get dirty they are easy to clean. Simply dunk in warm water and wipe down. No more saddle soap and neat's-foot oil. With regards to weapon bluing wear, all I can say from 20 plus years of experience is that all holsters will eventually cause bluing wear to some degree whether leather, nylon or plastic. The only gripe I have is that not all models of Blackhawk holsters come in left handed versions and sometimes you need to really research for the model conversion if your weapon isn't listed.

Works like a charm, fits well, and I love the additional brackets that go underneath my belt.

This is a well made quality holster. The lock mechanism and where my finger is is perfect, anyone who says this holster is dangerous is not holding there gun right, you draw by gripping the grip yo, drawing a pistol does not require your index finger, press the release with it and then keep it straight, if your curving your finger toward the trigger that is the humans fault, not the tool, learn proper trigger discipline people, when reviewing firearm equipment there should be a spot to put years of experience. Anyone that says this is dangerous would likely be 1 year or less.

Remember train finger straight and off trigger until fully drawn, no issues and fits the canik tp9 like it's made for it

I bought this because i needed a holster for a handgun, and i was unfamiliar with these kind of holsters. the price was just right, and it was on prime. The holster might of had instructions, but i'm not big on following those, so i immediately took it out and tinkered with the parts until i figured out how to set it up. took all of like 10 minutes. the fit is amazing, any kind of issue i've had to far has been on the belt, not the holster. i especially like the feature that lets me adjust the degree the handgun leans to with just a few screw adjustments.

The ease of removing my side arm with the slight touch with my finger is perfect. When all the way in holster weapon does not move and does not fall out. Comfort is not the best as the large half moon that locks the holster on the inside of the pants is hard and not padded...if this holster had some sort of cushioning on that half moon where it is against your hip, this company would absolutely have all my business for all my sidearms. I would Also recommend a bigger variety of different sidearm manufacturers and left handed for each as well.

Locks in nicely, easy to draw. Now I need the left hand model.
