For the first couple of days after installation, they're not so quiet but you can feel the difference in driving with them on and after day 3 you don't hear a sound.

These pads make a terrible noise! We're talking embarrassingly loud! I have installed several brake pads in my lifetime. I even paid my mechanic to double check I didn't mess the install up. So now I'm out the time for the install. Out the $$ for the check of my install. Now I have argued with Wagner (Matt with the under the car side-brakes). Matt wanted to blame and shame-- not helpful. Acknowledged their 2 year warranty but insisted I could not send them back to him. Amazon was nice enough to make an exception and return my $$ (thanks Manoj). I was recommended wagners about 12 years ago by a trusted mechanic. I have used/installed wagner brake pads and rotors on 6 vehicles over the years. When I had him double check my install he told me he stopped using wagners because they were coming back with noise complaints and customer service at wagner would not help him as a shop. I will not buy another wagner car part... ever based on the customer service I got from Matt. They probably have $5 in materials of pads. I could have sent these in and and gotten another set in case it was a manufacturing fluke. Instead I got attitude and that the install was the issue. Wow! Wagner won't get another penny of my $$ for any car part.

Positives: •Brakes and Wear Indicators installed without any issues •No sound from the brakes Negatives: •Abutment Clips do not fit on my Caliper Brackets. I compared them to the previous set and confirmed they were noticeably wider. I attempted to force them in and they warped and would not stay in as I anticipated. The existing set was still in good condition, so I cleaned them with brake cleaner and a stainless steel brush and recoated them with copper anti-seize. Final Thoughts: •For the price and quality, these are adequate brakes and I would ultimately recommend them. I would like to see the correct sized clips to avoid having to go purchase another set in the event that my clips were not in good condition. •The shims do not require any additional sound dampening lubricants on the back of them

I chose Wagner specifically because I wanted a product manufactured in the USA, and these were labeled as such. I easily installed these on my wife's Toyota RAV4 (rear disc) with no problems. Mounting hardware was included in the box, and the brakes appear to be working fine: It's only been about a week, and no sounds. Since there is some confusion as to what pads fit what: this was the V6 Sport, without the 3rd row seating, made in Japan. Incidentally, I ordered 3 other sets of Wagners: the 2 sets of pads were Made in USA, the set of shoes was China. I know Wagner has some made in Mexico also, but it seems that most are USA made, so I am pretty happy with that. Highly recommend.

This is the first time I tried Wagner. The price on line was excellent. I quickly swapped them out, and the hardware kit isn't necessary if the old plates on the car are in good condition,except for the wear tab which was a nice inclusion. Trust the instructions- silicon is not needed on the back of the pads. I immediately noticed a better grab when brakes are applied. This seems to be a great product, and no problems after a couple of months.

I saved over 50 dollars over the price that I found locally. The pads fit perfect and are whisper quiet. Fast Prime delivery, cheaper than local for the same produce, and excellent results. Why spend more?

Update after 2 months of driving. Excessive dust and still squeeking when driving on angled roads. the center T shaped potion of the clips that go between the slot of your caliper is too long. The older wagner model fit perfectly, but you would have to trim these a tiny bit with sheers to get them to fit. UPDATE: This pads squeel going down hill, I also took a look at the pads and noticed THESE ARE NOT TRUE CERAMIC PADS THEY HAVE COPPER IN THEM. Unfortunately Wagner is marketing these as Ceramic pads when in reality these are semi metallic. This is unfortunate because the name THERMO QUIET is miss leading as these are are as noisey as your average semi metallic pad. I would avoid these and buy AKEBONO pads instead.

Short term usage review...within one month They seem to be working fine. Good value for money Giving them 4 star instead of 5 because you never know when you might get a defective product from the company. They had sent me the front brake pads which were oversize and had to be grinded to fit.
