Neat little toy!
This little gadget works just as advertised. It comes with a little plastic handle with a spacer on it for getting the globe in just the right position.I measured the wattage with a Kill-a-Watt meter and it was flipping between 2.7 and 2.8 watts, more often on 2.8, so I'd interpolate it to about 2.77 watts. At my electricity cost that's just over 2 cents a day, so I just leave it on all the time.If you like science-based toys like lava lamps, fiber lamps, color organs and the like, you'd probably like this.

Nice Item
Just as advertised. Globe floats in air and rotates just as advertised. Has been rotating for well over a month now on a shelf in my office.

Floating globe
Got this as a gift for someone and it works perfectly fine. Just did not like the fact that they delivered it just the box itself with the shipping label and not in an Amazon box…like it could’ve gotten damaged or broken or opened up so definitely not handled with care.

A fun novelity toy, but...
The quality is what you'd expect for a plastic, electrically operated toy.The globe levitates fine, there is a small tool included that helps you set the globe in the correct position. The amount of light it makes is just right to use as a night light. However, I had this toy for only about 3 months when it started making a whining noise. The noise came from inside the globe. I think it it an internal transformer that is humming. When the globe levitates, you hear a whine. When it sticks to the top magnet in the support arm, it does not hum.The sound is loud enough to be annoying at night, if it is in the same room with you.

Fascinating Little Device
I got the biggest kick out of this. It really is mesmerizing to look at. It's made of a rather cheap plastic {except for the globe}. But it works great all the same and looks good too. Mine lights up in the cradle with a soft light. Makes a great gift!
