These cast amazing shadows - see photo. In daylight, they are a very shiny rose gold, more copper/pink than gold. They are 1.5” diameter, so smaller than they may seem. Advice: to untangle the bulbs and cord, start at the battery compartment and then work it through and around. As to the compartment, it does slide open when you press down where marked.

I was expecting tiny fairy lights like the ones at Wal-Mart, and these are larger (about 1 1/2 inches diameter). They're pretty, the color was indeed rose gold, and all the lights work so I found a good place to hang them.

The little lights are great for setting a mood outdoors. Being battery powered makes them quite portable. I had to buy 2 sets since I’m hanging them in trees over tables, etc. There’s also a setting that makes them blink like crazy, but I couldn’t find an occasion for that insanity.

These are beautiful! I love them! I was so sad to have to take down my Christmas lights but being able to put these up afterwards brought back that warm and cheerful element :)

These lights are pretty and of a good length (Almost 10 feet).We have used it around our curtains and it spruces up the apartment and looks real pretty with the lights off.All the LED's are working as expected and quality seems to be good.Haven't tried how water resistant this is.Will recommend this product to others.

The intricate tangling they did was pretty intense to unwrap, but other than that the lights are the right about of brightness and give off a warm color. The orbs are metal and make a satisfying cling sound when they touch each other, they are heavy enough to feel more like a decoration rather than cheap lights. They are long enough to hang well above your bed. they look great with a boho or earthy theme. Use hooks or rest them on top of other things to string them since they distribute their weight differently than tiny lights.

I loved the look of these lights. They are warm and cast a good soft light. I would have given them 5 stars but I gave them 4 when I wish I could have given them a 3 and 1/2. I ordered 5 sets one did not work you can tell that the wire was not connected at the battery box (they are just soldered in place to the battery box). I would love if these lights were able to connect but instead the battery box hangs from each one, which is not ideal for a long train of lights. I purchased these to go around my fence line for a party. I still used the 4 that work and I think they were pretty. To me they will be perfect for someone just needing to use one set of lights at a time.

Wanted to place them on window ledge--very difficult to do. Would probably need hooks to hold them. They were heavy and tangled easily. May work as tree decorations.
