Decent starter
So far so good. Started blade is lacking but otherwise it seems to be able to handle small cuts. Be aware it does not have directions with it but common sense will allow most people to complete it.

Cheap and disappointing
Disappointing. This is a very cheap machine. I bought for girl friend who is into rock collecting and going into making jewelry and I though for the price I bought it for it could work for atleast a minor hobby but I don't even recommend for that. The manual was barely of any help, the water dispenser needs something better than a loos hose with a controlled spout. The blade couldn't cut a rock. And was very wobbly. I do not recommend this at all.

Good quality
For the price I didn't expect the quality to be as good as it is. Although the instruction booklet is not for this unit it does show in detail the sequence of installing the flex shaft, buffer and grinding wheels. The booklet is for the grinder polisher unit only so there is nothing about installing the crossbar that holds the multi-angle ruler calibrator on the saw table. The cross member is different but improved over the one pictured. Other than that and the water system which there is none except for a small blue box the unit is well built (I'll make a drip system like the one for my larger Lortone saw). The motor is fairly quiet and the variable control works very nicely. Just remember that this is built for cutting, grinding, and polishing small gemstones and projects which is why I bought it. Unit is well worth the price.

You have to buy this….
Ok I waited a long time before I wrote a review on this item to make sure it works the way it’s supposed to. All I can say is WOW please buy First it shipped to me super fast and arrived in perfect shipping condition. It was packaged perfect and everything was protected properly. Time to tell you everything about this wonderful item…. I unpacked it and immediately decided to put this thing through the true test and boy did it surprise me but in a great way. This company can build a awesome machine. I bought this machine to strictly do precise cutting, shaping and trimming of my gems and stones. But I decided to test the durability of this machine and cut about 15 solid formed heavy duty rocks that I would normally cut on my big continuous bladed wet tile saws. Wow it did the work and surprised the hell out of me. Now don’t get me wrong it didn’t cut perfectly and bogged down some during cutting which is expected because this machine isn’t meant for this type of use. It’s meant for shaping and trimming which it does perfectly. Still this thing cut those hard big rocks like nothing. For a machine that’s not supposed to be used for things like that I was impressed. The blade after going through that rigorous test was in bad shape but guess what it still cut more then it was supposed to so it passed the true test I give everything and I’m 100% happy with it. Now using it for what it’s supposed to be used for…. As far as cutting shapes, and trimming my rocks it does awesome perfect job. Those thin blades can get in areas to where no other blade can. That little motor has done great. The Dremel attachment, polishing attachments are spot on. I have etched, polished and grinded things to a perfect precision. That alone was worth the price I promise ya because these big name brands I’ve used in the past couldn’t do what this little machine has done. The assembly was easy as hell. Watch the video on putting it together I’m telling you now it takes no time at all and everything goes together perfectly. Don’t believe some of these reviews on here saying it’s hard to put together. If people are having problems putting it together it’s user error not company error. Seriously watch the video and you’ll see I’m being truthful. Now the only thing I have a problem with is the watering system. It’s horrible folks. You will need to buy a whole different watering system for it because the design and product is truly bad. But seeing the price and how everything else works I’m 100% satisfied and can deal with that minor problem. Get your watering system from your local Home Depot or Lowe’s. Go on YouTube and watch a video on how to assemble one to help you out. I want to thank this company for giving such a amazing product and price. Please stay at this price and more like me will buy your stuff. Please anyone that reads this buy it you will be very happy and if you need any help study lapidary videos like me before using it. This will save you time and money and will get you to enjoy this amazing machine more. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

With a modification or two, not a bad machine
As other customers have noted, there is no instruction manual with it. That made me skeptic. The blade that comes with it is less than desirable. The water drip system is rather useless. The tube just hangs off of the reservoir. Getting it to stay near the blade is impossible. All that being said, I made a few changes and actually like the saw. I drilled a hole in the blade guard for the water tube and now it drips where I want it to. I purchased different blades that work better as well. I have been able to make some slim slices in some larger rocks. I have used the polishing wheels that came with it and they do okay. I do enjoy the rotary tool. Since the whole machine is variable speed, with a little experimenting, I have found it was worth the cost for what I wanted it to do.

Worst item I ever bought for polishing Stones and crystals.
Worst item I ever bought for polishing stones and crystals. You have to buy so many different attachments for this product to actually be used properly. None of the items that they sent actually work while on any stone or rock. I’ve already destroyed the cutting blade because it’s so thin it just bends every time we try to cut a stone. The polishing and grinding wheel have basically come apart and all that it does to a stone is destroy the wheel. The water container you have to fill every two minutes. Not worth the money stay away. Absolute garbage One of the biggest things I regret is that I did not return this soon enough. I didn’t get to use it until after I got a bunch of stones ran through the Tumblr. Now I wished I had not even bought this product.

Totally awesome machine! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!
I would like to start off by saying this is a trim saw and not a saw for cutting big rocks. It has trimmed every rock that I have tried. I had to get used to the blades because I was used to regular continuous rim 7 inch saw blade and then when when I used the thin blade it took a little bit to figure out. I noticed when u get your rock positioned the a certain way it did great. I am truly happy with this setup. If I could change one thing it would be the water drip. It's hard to get the hose to go where u need the water, but I made some adjustments and it.is doing better. All in all this is a wonderful saw. Just remember not to force your rocks and remember it's only for trimming, although I have used it for stabbing small pieces of rock. If your not happy with the blade try a thicker one.

Light duty
Works for light lapidary hobby. Manual lacking in how to assemble and use. Ordered upgraded item received standard item. Seller progressive dollars off up to half. Could not return dueto covid? Accepted half off. It works but not what I wanted.
