Stops air leak
It was easy with a router and a block of wood & strong double stick tape as a fence stuck to the router base. Now water and wind can’t blow under door

Workable - Good customer service
This is not quite working as advertised but it's a good concept and it should work if your floor is perfectly straight or if you do a little adaptation. The door sweep drops fine under the door when you close it, but because it's on an aluminum profile which doesn't bend much, it will not make contact all the way with your floor if the floor is not perfectly straight. It will make contact with the high spots and leave gaps elsewhere. The rubber seal which contacts with the floor is not soft enough to absorb level differences. So check your floor under the door with a straight edge before.I ended up bending the aluminum profile to conform to my floor slight curve. I removed a screw on the top of the track that holds the bottom sweep mechanism. Once removed I placed it over the floor where the door closes and bent it carefully until it conformed with the floor, then reinstalled it. It's close to 100% with some very small gaps.If you have gaps larger than 3/16" this might not work. I think they have another product with a softer rubber seal that might work better. The company has a good customer service. They sent me a replacement, more sturdy, but I had to bend the profile anyways. it would work better if the rubber seal was mounted on something flexible, like windshield wipers.

Second attempt
I have now purchased this item twice believing that perhaps I had failed somewhere with the first installation. To begin...I have made certain that the threshold is flat within .010"-.015".Secondly, I scribed and sawed the bottom of the door parallel to the threshold. The routed feature is .580" allowing enough clearance to receive the TMS seal without force. The strike plate is inset flush on the door jamb.Starting with the adjustment screw all the way in...basically zero...screwed it out a quarter to half turn at a time until the middle of the seal engaged, continuing in that manner until the middle of the seal began to resist attempts to close the door. That seems to be the point at which proceeding would damage the the seal. There are still gaps at the hinge side and the lock side of the door that any self respecting cockroach could pass through. Please tell me what I'm not seeing here...Has anyone had any feedback from the manufacturer?

Seems to work okay...
Like others have mentioned, I too am having a problem getting the rubber seal to seat evenly. The seal closest to the plunger just will not go all the way down to the threshold molding. I have even tried adjusting the molding (raising it) and that only helps a little bit. I am hopeful that are a few weeks of use things will “break in” and perhaps be more even.

It works after a little careful calibration
That’s all

Why would you need this
I don’t get what you want this for. Just install a fixed sweep. The auto feature is irrelevant since when the door is open you shouldn’t care if the sweep lifts or not…. The door is open.
