Does this heater have a chemical smell and does it have to be aired out before using?

I let it sit outside for a few hours, just in case, but as far as i can tell there is no smell.

what is BTU in this model?

1 watt is about 3.4 btu/hr This is rated at 1500 watts, so about 5120 BTU/HR (100%,oad efficiency - no energy loss). To get 5120 BTU's delivered you have to run it an hour. If you run it 1-1/2 hours you'll get about 7560 BTU's A furnace in an "average" (2000-3000 Sq ft in zone 8) home is about 100,000 btu/hr give or take.

Are the control's digital? Can I use this with a timer?

No they aren't digital and there is no timer but it does have a thermostat so when it reaches the desired temp in the room it shuts off until the temperature drops then it comes back on

What is the height with the wheels on?
