Callous packaging!!!
Looks nice. But the packaging was absolutely pathetic!! Fortunately the edges didn’t get chipped. Otherwise would have returned it!!!

Horrible quality control but a nice looking product
The knife drawer is pretty and I had high hopes for it. However, both the first one AND its replacement suffered from terrible quality control. Some of the knife gaps were too tight to fit any knifes, including my thinnest. It appears to have warped or suffered moisture damage in storage. Shame, because they look good.

Poorly made
I was excited to use this new knife holder until I noticed the manufacturing defect making one of the slots unusable.

Fantastic use of space
Using a large knife block that sits on your counter is, in my opinion, a waste of space, and when you want to upgrade your knives, it doesn't always fit the new ones. This knife tray freed up a lot of counter space and provides flexible storage for all kinds of knives. I've had it for over two years and the wood still looks great. It's the most efficient, accessible way to store knives that I've seen. I'd never go back.
