Frabill's Jiggler Long Rod Series perfects sensitivity, while bringing aboard length for technique and species-specific performance. The fishing line tautly tunnels through the rod so that wind is negated. The "long-rodding" technique is a staple amongst tournament enthusiasts and anglers fishing shallow waters. The 54" ultra light rod/reel features 1:1 reel ratio, composite spool with super smooth drag, ambidextrous over-sized reel handle, sub-zero lubrication system to keep reel liquid smooth in any temperature, line feeds straight off of spool, eliminating line coiling and spinning of lures. Includes 8 ft. of pre-threaded line to aid in threading purchased line through rod blank. It has technique specific actions to match your fishing style and targeted species, an integrated spring bobber to detect the lightest bite, comfortable cork handle, and an integrated fly reel. The line runs through rod blank shielding the fishing line from wind for added sensitivity.

... shipped to you without bein broken because of the poor box that it is shipped in
If you get this rod shipped to you without bein broken because of the poor box that it is shipped in. It should be shipped in the hard cardboard tube container because of how fragile it is. That bein said it is an amazing rod to catch panfish with because of the flexibility of rod you will have tons of fun. I currently own 4 of these rods and have broke none while fishing with them. Just love the flexibility makes catchin panfish a great time!:)

save your money
stay with the traditional rod and reel .just the over all feel of its not good.not really a good product . For a beginner or a kid I guess it would be okay or a weekend warrior.
