TRUGLO TFO Tritium & Fiber-Optic Handgun SightsI wanted to be able to see the sights on my EDC pistol at any level of illumination and these sights work well. With a lot of light hitting the fiber optic rods the sights get brighter, and in the dark the tritium illuminates the sight dots.The original GX4 sights were basically only useful in the daylight and not other times, front dot was too tiny and the rear sights had no dots.These Truglo sights give you just enough visual reference to aim accurately in bright light, low light and even no light scenarios (see the dark photo).They were pretty easy to install onto my pistol.The front sight, with a green sight dot, required me to push it down into place with a plastic screwdriver handle and it fit tightly.The front sight bolt appeared to already had some threadlocker compound on it. The bolt hole is properly placed allowing a front sight tool to easily install and tighten the bolt. You have to be careful to thread it into the sight correctly.The base of the rear sight, with yellow sight dots, required some very light filing to custom fit (photo) to my slide and my sight pusher installed them semi-easily. There is a set screw to use with the included allen key, that helps the rear sight stay in alignment. I did not use threadlocker on it yet until I have a few more sessions at the range in case I need to readjust its position.The package includes front sight, rear sight, information, and an allen key.Now these sights are just bright enough for my purposes, but you may require something brighter or even an external gun light/flashlight. I like small handheld flashlights.I award this product FIVE stars and hopefully it will last the 12 years of usefulness.

Got this sight system to replace some aged tritium sights on my Gen 4 (non MOS) Glock. Like the fact that they have both tritium and fiber optics. Installation was straight forward. Very impressed with both the daytime and nighttime visibility from these sights. Definitely an upgrade from the old night sights previously installed.

I bought this TRUGLO TFO Sight Set for my Gen 3 Glock 30 .45acp. The factory sights were just 2 White Dot rear, and White Dot front sights, that are near impossible to see in low light or darkness. Since this G30 is my daily Concealed Carry weapon, I want to actually be able to see the gun and sights if I need to use it in night situations.The factory front sight was pretty easy to remove, but the rear sight required a sight push tool to remove it. I bought a tool from Sylvan arms, here at Amazon, and removal was amazingly simple.When I removed the front sight, I added a small drop of oil to keep the area under the screw free from corrosion. Then just lined up the sight with the hole and tapped it with a small wrench to seat it in place. Getting the new (included) screw in, was difficult because of the size. It is a tiny screw, so just used a pair of needle nose pliers and a lighted magnifier to line it up and get it started in the threads. I used my tool to tighten the front sight, and it fits perfectly. TRUGLO says not to use a sight push tool to install the rear sight but how else can you install it. It is extremely tight in the dovetail. I used the Sylvan sight pusher and just took my time, while making sure that I didn't turn the pusher too fast. I will say, that if you take your time and make sure that your sight pusher lines up at the base of the sight in the dovetail, that you will have no issues. I guess that TRUGLO wants to make sure that you don't crack the Fiber Optic section of the sight. Again, just make sure that your pusher contacts the sight at the lowest point in the dovetail. You will be just fine.The Fiber Optic is very bright and the Tritium glows brightly, even in total darkness. This sight set is AMAZING!!It is a little on the expensive side, but I wanted both FO and Tritium in my sights.I got the set with the yellow rear and green front. I wanted to be able to distinguish both the front and rear sight easily. That's why I didn't want the all green set.If you purchase this sight set, I think that you will be Totally Satisfied, as I am, with the quality and brightness.Tomorrow, I go to the shooting range to sight in the pistol and I expect to enjoy shooting with the new sights and to have no issues.
